I've been in the U.S. for seven years and am still not sure what I want to be when I grow up. I know I'm running out of time for that now, because I've just turned 39, but being a self-diagnosed adult A.D.D.'er, I'm going to wait for my body to catch up with my years before I make firm plans.

I believe I'm straight, but as a result of some of the things I've done in my past, pinning the 'straight' label on me just doesn't sit exactly right. I have no idea if I'm a Dom or not, because I like to please, but if pleasing someone means tying them up and spanking them, I'd volunteer in a heartbeat. I'm hoping someone will help me figure out exactly where I fit in, in the larger scheme of things, because it's really beginning to bug me. I'm married and have been since 2 weeks and 3 days after meeting my wife online, however there has to be a new phrase that describes our relationship because vanilla is way too spicy an adjective.

Until a few weeks ago, I had no idea some females in the U.S. actually read erotica without getting all angry at the author and not only that, they even have sex; sometimes before marriage, sometimes actually after, and sometime even, all by themselves! Can you imagine?? If I didn't set a schedule and force my wife to submit (in the dark with the lights off) to a trip around her body culminating between her legs once or twice a month, I'd have had hairy palms years ago. She's 20 years older than me and that's her excuse. She's sticking to it. Period! But you get the idea :)

Thanks for the welcome! You know, I secretly suspected as much cariad (Wonderful name! Does it have a specific meaning?). Not only are people here friendly and informative, but they can be so humorous as well... it's better than TV any day! The one problem I've got now is, "When is it a good time to get offline?" I guess I forgot to mention that I figured out I'm obsessive/compulsive too... but where are my manners...
