Forbidden Fruit (a shot at the first part of a series idea)
Hello all. I would like to first thank you for your time in even reading this. I would also like to warn you what is ahead. You see I am not the world's most wonderful writer, well hell, I don't even fit in to the "good" writer category. However sometimes I sit around and my imagination runs rampid. This is the first part in a series I had come to think of. One that I adapted from one of my most adored aspects of Greek mythology. I couldn't hold it in my mind for too much longer so here I am writing away. I do so ever hope you enjoy... and if you do, I will be doing my best to post a new entry for the series each week. Forbidden Fruit
Within the darkened streets of any city can be found many a things. Violence, drugs, and depravity. Yet this is not what some of us look for. Some of us go on in our life, seeking something that other's do not quite understand. The need to own and be owned, a need to travel along the thin line of pain and pleasure, love and hate. Tonight just so happens to be the night one man finds what he desires to control, not to mention a young woman who's life all comes to a change.
Within the city lay a club. One of the most renowned for the hedonistic to attend. This club had recently came about thanks to a man who called himself Hades. He was a man who some considered a god. Hades had the best of both world's at times, all the glories of riches and power. Yet within him lay something ever so dark. A craving... one that he could never satisfy no matter how much he had come to try. This very craving was simple in his mind, so simple that he often mocked others for abusing it with out even thinking. All he desired in his life was to simply be adored by some one. Some one to cherish him, hold him, and make him seem as though for once he had a purpose in the world outside of providing the dark desires to those who gladly wanted it. It almost seems as though it would be easy to find that in some one with his credentials. Yet it never was, he was a picky man, and could never settle on some wooed dame if she did not fit his full list. Though there had been one woman. One beautiful intelligent woman he had always found himself crossing paths with. Her name was Persephone, a girl who had come from another rather well known family. Every night Hades' club doors were open she would walk in. Within a building full of life and music nothing seemed to matter. With each and every step she would take he would watch her from his shadows, watching as though all life came to a hault only to give full grace to her. God how he had adored her in his own awkward way. In all truth he had never really known if it was love or simple lust. Often he had found himself praying it was the latter then the other. Either way all he knew was his desire to have her. He had everything else he ever wanted, why not her? After all one must have everything or nothing. So began his efforts, so many he had spent on attempting to flatter, sweep her off her feet, and gain a simple "foot in the door" approach. Yet with each action he performed she always seemed to shrug him off, often she would even insult his pride with her ways of disapproval, then again was that just how he had seen it all? Tonight it did not matter though. Tonight Hades was Hell bound on winning her over. Early that day he had finally convened the young girl to dine within him in his private "room" within the club. Oh tonight she would not turn him down as easily as she had done before. At least that is what ran through his head as he tossed the large rip pomegranate up and down within his large hand. Oh tonight if she would not be his he would just make her his...
Within the loft above the main stage he awaited. Hades was a rather taller man than most, one who always had a strong taste for what he seen as a more business like fashion. Clad in a finely tailored black suit with offsetting red tie he watched. Those large dark brown hues squinted slightly as he glanced out the huge portrait sized window from his room. Each person who entered would be noticed and when most hearts would race with anticipation his would keep a steady soft beat. Then after waiting, for what seemed an eternity, he had spotted his lovely prey. Persephone herself had a certain taste in wardrobe. At the entrance was his desire, clad in a crimson dress and already being lead by his "bouncers". He moved to his chair that set at the large done up table, somewhat admiring the feast he had prepared. A sly grin crossed warm thin lips as he looked up, taking in full view the beauty he had been waiting for. A slight stand came from him before proceeding with a well placed bow. "Good evening my dearest... I am so glad you could attend..." His words were spoken with a firm yet soft voice, one that made the young girl return a fraction of a smile. She however did not wish to put things off. She had promised this unique man a dinner and she was damned sure that would be all he got. What was the point in wasting time any way? With this thought she came to set within the adjacent chair, a move that would be followed by her rather "interesting" host.
"I hope my men did not embarrass you with the unwanted attention you must have gained on your way up." He spoke ever so softly.
"No not at all, I am somewhat used to the attention." came a reply matching his tone.
Hades motioned with his hand for her to take part in the entre before her and with her approving gesture of doing so he in turn did the same. The two would continue to dine, slowly for that matter, in the most dreadful of awkward silence. It would not take too much longer until Persephone would have decided she had had her fill and was ready to leave. This guy at times almost scared her in away, the entire time she had spent picking at her food she could not help bit notice his ever so creepy gaze watching each movement she made.
"My apologies, Hades, but I really must get going..."
"Must you?" he would interject.
"Yes, I have things I need to get to."
"I was half expecting we could have a civil conversation my dear."
"Oh like there is much to discuss..." she replied with a tone of disdain.
"Fair enough..."
Hades then reached within the bowl of fruit before him, long digits curling about the pomegranate. His fingertips slowly caressed it's skin as his dark orbs would look back to her. She in turn watched his fluid of movements with this fruit, almost being driven to madness in curiosity of why any man would take such an interest. She had come to the conclusion he was a bit annoyed with her. Yet what did she care? She had better things to be doing then this.
"This is a pomegranate... some often consider it the fruit of the dead." he watched her intently as he spoke, explaining it, "A fruit that is somewhat an acquired taste. A fruit that is bitterly sweet, yet so delicious..."
"I am sorry, but I really must be going now."
"No, no... forgive me Persephone, I am getting to my point. You see this fruit is something I so adore... and I must finish each meal with a bit of it's taste. I know it sounds a bit foolish, but consider it a weird obsession of mine. I know you must be in a hurry, but please humor me by sharing this one thing with me."
With that he took his knife, slowly cutting the plump fruit within his hand, as blood red juice flowed gently along his palm. He held it out in offering to her waiting for her to except his gift. She eyed him slightly, curious at first, wondering what sort of lunacy this was entirely. For a moment she debated within herself, thinking it was best not to accept this form of return for his dinner. Then again she thought... what harm would it do.
"Not as though you poisoned it." she spoke with a smirk as she took from him.
She used her small finger tips to pick at the crystals from the inside of the honeycomb like fruit. Quietly she sat there, tasting each one within her mouth. The more she ate the more she could not help but eat more.
"Goodness... this really is good!" she gave a grin as she continued to eat.
Hades sit quietly, legs cross as his fingers came joined together as he watched. A devilish grin caressed his lips, waiting for his "wonder" drug to take hold. And as sure as time would pass she began to slowly feel the side effects of such a forbidden fruit. Her body would go still as she slumped into the large chair, her arm dropping as the fruit rolled out from her now limp fingers. What was this he had done to her? What was going on? She was fully awake, yet unable to move. Her eyes widened in a slight form of terror as she watched Hades move from his chair towards her. With each step he took his hand would come out to swoop out and knock an item from the table, thus assuring when he arrived to her, his table was clear. Kneeling down to her level he reached out with his hand, those warm fingers slowly grasping her small chin.
"Right now you are wondering what just happened, or perhaps even 'oh God what is he going to do to me" a large smile formed as his fingers closed tightly about her chin, "You see dearest Persephone, I am a man who always gets what he wants, and if it is something I can not have... well I just break every restraint that blocks me from getting it."
His words sank in as she helplessly sit there in his grasp, each word echoing through her mind. What she had gotten herself into she was unsure of, but she did know the fear racing through her mind was something she had never quite expected before.
"You are to be mine Persephone, to this I will see. You will be mine and for now and ever more." He slowly stood to his full height as he looked down to her. Hands would swept to the top of her head as fingers coiled within strands of dark hair and once they had their hold she would feel hundreds of stinging pains upon her scalp as he pulled her limp form from the chair. His movements were swift, something she was almost thankful for as she felt her back slam into the table. He took no time to straddle her almost lifeless form this time, his hand reaching for a knife as the other reached for what appeared to be a remote. He grined somewhat as he clicked a button on the remote, his eyes turning to look at a distant wall, one that held a series of television screens. His grin would only grow wider as he took notice of the scene now being on the tvs. Persephone let out a soft cry of concern as she seen this, realizing quickly what would take place was clearly going to be filmed.
"Don't mind the cameras darling dearest... I just want to keep a token of how I won you. Who knows maybe I could play it for your mommy and daddy."
With those words a tear came to her eye. The feeling of fear was now mixed with that of embarrassment, god what was she to do? Those feelings would soon pass as she felt a sharp gush of pain. Hades had released the remote and taken hold of the bosom of her dress. As he did this the tip of his blade had come down upon the center of her collar bone. His hand slide back as the blade easily sliced through her dress, exposing her beautiful ivory flesh. She could feel a slight bulge within his pants as Hades watched his work. The idea that a man would be turned on by this bothered her, scared her even. Yet she had no clue... Hades had grown ever so slightly aroused by one thing. Not the site of her now fully exposed swells of flesh or what he was doing to her. It was the site of the line of crimson that followed his blade. The site was so beautiful, seeing how it glistened upon porcelain white flesh. He could not contain himself as he leaned forward to brush his velvety muscle along the not so deep cut. God how marvelous her life flow did taste. His eyes would glance back to her as he grined once more.
"The things I am prepared to do to you my darling..."
He set atop her after speaking, reminding her. His eyes focused back on her exposed breasts. A soft chuckle escaped his lips as he turned the tip of his knife to her skin. She let out another soft whimper as she felt the prick, her eyes widening as she watched him begin to carve into her warm flesh. The blade dragged along, raking at her, slicing through layers of skin, and with each passing stroke would come to reveal his name. He smiled to her as he watched, it was almost creepy to see such a warm smile on a man after doing something like this. Let alone this thing was being done to her. Her eyes filled with tears as she had received his mark, not from the pain, but from the horror of it all. Quickly he raised an open palm and brought it down heavily onto the fresh wound. A laugh would echo in his office as he watched her lips open in an attempt to scream.
"There there girl... there is no use for you do not have the strength to do so..." a hand came to rest on her mouth and nose as he spoke, severing her ability to breath. His lips turned from a grin to a frown as he watched her, her face turning red as she could not suck in the precious air she took for granted. He growled a bit, realizing once more he had drugged her, and she had not ounce of fight in her at the moment. His hand moved from her lips as he watched her chest heave for that oxygen.
"What am I to do with you girl...? I will not bore you with reinstating you are mine now and that there is next to no chance for you to ever leave this building again. Yet I am displeased... I must teach you some sort of a lesson for putting through so much torment to catch you."
She laid beneath him still, wishing to squirm, wishing to claw his eyes out. She knew she could do nothing at this point and deep within she vowed she would be dead before she would be his. Yet at the same time she could not help but feel what she truly was at the moment, helpless.
Hades's fingers drumed along his chin for a moment in thought as he speculated how he could teach his new found bitch a lesson. Then his face would light up in thought, finally finding what it was she deserved. He made his way over towards the phone, a finger coming down to press his intercom system.
"Murray would you be a lad and bring me up thirty of the first males you see attending our club tonight?" Hades would give a nod as he heard the simple reply of "yes sir". Slowly he made his way back to his new found toy, and as fingertips brushed back stray strands of her hair he leaned close to ear and whispered, "Let's see how much you enjoy letting all our patrons see how much of a dirty whore you really are..."
