Positive Attitude

After i chose my name here, I realised it could be misinterpreted...

I have been interested/practicing bdsm, starting with my first lover who introduced me to bondage, spanking, and other aspects of bdsm...he was older than me and had a naturally dominant personality. I am naturally a little shy at first.

I have tried at times over the years to be happy with less than kinky lovers and this has always proven to be frustrating.

As I ascend into my late thirties, it has become more obvious that I am a switch not just submissive, and I have recently found someone to share this with, and he has asked me for things I know little about...I hope to learn more about all aspects of bdsm here, though my experiences span many years and perhaps I have tried more than most, I still feel very inexperienced in some areas and realise I have much to learn. So far my experience has made me quite good at spanking and being the aggressor, but there is so much more to it.

I was going to lurk longer and read more first, yet I am compelled to go ahead and follow the suggestion that new members should be polite and introduce themselves...

There is lots of information interwoven in these threads and lots of fun to be had too. Perhaps you should suggest your new friend also joins and then you can chat about what you read here. If you are looking for anything specific the search function is pretty good, and don't hesitate to start another new thread...

Cariad, thank you for the offer but I am fine with it. I hesitate to write too much here as there might be more appropriate places for comments or subjects that are already covered.

In response to including my lover here, that would be up to him, I doubt he has time for it, he has a lot on his plate, as is life in post K New Orleans... but I may suggest it. My primary mission here is to search for inspiration, I do have some of my own, as to how to approach a situation with another switch, I have only been dominated in close relations with men, though I tend to dominate females. And some males, but it is rare that they hold my interest if this is all they want.

As I said, better addressed in other threads, I will try to figure out the search function...by the way I lurked long enough to read a little and as soon as I saw the invite to introduce I went ahead and did. I though it nice because if I want to ask questions of a sexual nature it would be nice not to be a total stranger...and when I see a good thing I tend to embrace it.

I have many questions, I think I am off to something I saw about obscure fetishes...

I was happy before I found ya'll, but now I am 23% happier, very excited, I have learned about CBT (something I have never done to anyone, and as i consider cock to be sacred something I would like to do well and safe) and tips about bondage (almost always the tied and rarely the tyer) and the most slippery bit to master, for me, a Domme attitude!
