Yep, I'm getting that too. But I didn't really notice because it's much less obvious - the page appears just a tiny bit wider than the screen, and that bit is to the right side, so it slips from sight. Could be depending on the monitor of course (my monitor is old and hoary but effective, around 14" and I haven't updated the drivers for a long time). Using Windows XP, IE6 SP1 - and a second browser, Opera 9.50, where it looks completely okay.
Interesting, in that, for example, imported links such as the 7 jasmin links were smaller from left to right, but the board itself didn't change. Leads me to believe some set of 'appearance parameters' were changed or reinterpretted.Quote:

I've been trying to upload some photo attachments but ever since the site overhaul it seems they always fail. I'm on a mac with osx and I've tried uploading in Safari and Firefox. Any ideas?

i noticed on the top of this page there are tabs for sections of the forum...but i dont see the "Member lookup/search" tab...is there a reason its not at the top or am i looking in the wrong spot? Lol
also could be the fact that im sleeeeeppppppppppppppy!

Seems the only way to change one's nick is through a message here, am I right?
If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to change my nick from slvWriting to Escritor (which is basically the same name, but in Spanish, and with no slv prefix, since I'm a switch and is "more correct" that way)

In your user control panel....choose the option edit my details.....scroll down there are windows for messengers then just save it.
go to your user cp link on top of the page,

Hello all,
I need some instruction for entering the chat room using either the opera or the seamonkey browser.
whenever I click the tab a new window opens but remains blank. I have looked at the settings and I cannot see what is wrong, maybe some sort of java plug in is needed, but they seem to installed.
I would like to use firefox or IE, but they are both crashing the vista operating system.
Any help would be appreciated

log into java.com download the latestjava,,I beleive its version 9 or 10 should work after that.

Perhaps I am simply being clumsy as well as new. But. clicking back to the forum when on the library I notice a button “BDSMacademy”. However, clicking on it gets me to this forum and I don’t see an Academy at all.
Is this BDSM Academy an advanced section of the Writer’s Society? Or does it give tutorials on BDSM? I am curious and would like to know where can I find it.
Answer,,The "Academy" WAS an old area of the Library. It no longer exists. It had nothing to do with the Writers area.

I tried to post a visitor message this afternoon(my first day) and it told me I could not perform this function. It said to refresh the page and log in again. I was logged in on each occasion and when I went back to the home page it had logged me out again. I was doing this to save PMing people. Can anyone help me please?
Try checking the "remember me" box when you log in...the site reads cookies and has to remember you from page to page.

My private messages are doing the same thing. I'm recieving email notices of the private message, with the person's message to me in the email, but no writing in the message. Maybe theres a glitch in the system.

Hummm no words in our posts
When I'm on the forum, I cannot see writing of any private messages I have saved in my box, or any posts or visitor messages I've made after a certain time. Yet, I can click on a post in the "Find all posts option" and see some writing. I also cannot see anyone else's posts after a certain time. Others claim they arent having this problem. Is there work being done, or a glitch in the forum? Someone said they think its my computer. I changed my homepage, and went and posted on the foot site I belong to, and everything seems fine there.
Any info would be appreciated. This is really weird. Thank you.
