That still does not mean it was a blanket policy---I remove the stories of one author by his request ---but that does not mean it was or is the policy of the board to do so for any and all authors. Now you have your answer from Tiger like you wanted---maybe not the answer you wanted ---so now authors know the policy of the site-
Rabbit, BDSM Library has always pulled stories at author request. When BDSM library was started, ANYONE was allowed to post a story....whether they wrote it or NOT. This means there's a whole mass of stories published here illegally. Even now, how do you know that the person submitting the story is the actual owner. Any signed papers?
The writer still owns copyright to these stories. You claim right to publish for eternity after the fact with no compensation to the writer. This is not going to hold up. You claim that other story sites use this policy. Not so. Literotica will pull any story as requested by the author. The only stories they hold rights to are book stories and contest stories. In both cases the writer is compensated monetarily for their stories.
My stories have been stolen from the web and posted here illegally. Unless you have proof of copyright, I ask that you remove any stories authored by Couture from this website. I will be sending a note to the owner to that effect.
Couture. I have only posted a few times in this forum. But i must tip my hat to you!!! Kudos for standing up for a wrong.. You can fight city hall!!!!!
if you read this post you know the procedure for requesting a story being remove --and it is not with me---I follow the owners policies---I volunteer my time here to publish stories and help run the forum--- so addressing me in this issue is not going to get you anywhere---I am not a messenger ---the owners contact information is postedQuote:
