Yep. Go to your User CP and on the list at the left, at the bottom, click on attachments and you'll see all that you have uploaded.

The last few days I have had problems with the site. The problems have been an inability to log in, everything resulting in a datatbase error, slow or non loading pages, and inability to go to main chat. I can log in at least now. :) But hopefully this will all get fixed. I was getting very frustrated when for like 1-2 days everything I clicked on resulted in a database error and I could not log in or follow the contact us link to tell anyone of my woes, and Google could not provide me with a support email for the site. In the future perhaps it would be good if a generic support email is listed when you hover over the contact us link, or is just known to the general public/me or something. Maybe this is already the case and I am just unaware...

UPDATE: My avatar and profile pic have reverted to those of an earlier date, so has my signature, my profile information, and my profile's visitor messages. I forgot to check my friends list, but I wouldn't be surprised to find it has changed to. Something is definitely up here.

FURTHER UPDATE: All my friends are gone from my friend list. I'm now friendless. :(

yes the entire site was/is down, they prolly had to do a reset to the earlier date in order to correct the problem.
The last time this happened, it was a hacker with a malicious attack.
Rest assured that Tiger and the tech team are working on these issues, (much appreciated to for all the hard work - big hugs...if I could send cookies, I would)
Hopefully this will get fixed really soon

Itd appear to be a database rollback to an earlier backup (3/30-2009 to be excact)
Hopefully this is just to get the site running. Because if not everything since then is lost including my profile.

It seems all the stories have been deleted. Is that the same for everyone? You click on the link and just come up with a blank, all the formatting is there, but nothing else. Glad I finished reading drkfetyshnyghts novel last night!

If it's going back to march does that mean that if I didn't register until later then I have to re-register? I've tried logging on and it isn't letting me, was just wondering because well... aaah! :(

Well, I managed to log in, with my old email address, etc. The forum seems to have reverted back to March with the posts and such. Does this mean that all data posted since March is gone for good, or will it return?

Anyhow, glad to be back in.

lol Just relax people. Give it another day or two before you jump to any conclussions. I am sure once Admin has fixed the issue they will make a statement conserning weather or not we are really set back here etc etc

usually thered be a more recent backup but some error in the storing may cause delay or difficulties in getting the missing data back in place.

For now thou the front page indicates loss of some data back to 4/1-2009 (cant put a link in yet)

Hmmmm, won't let me register again, but doesn't recognise either my password or my email address. I presume there must still be a lot to do to get the site up and running again?

Also PLEASE!!!! DO NOT Flood the webmaster-email addy with ""I did not receive my confirmation"" e-mails,, all in due time.

Just to echo Torq...

Yes, folks, we've done a little retro-grade here. So... you will need to check your sig blocks, profiles, avi's, etc. --> make sure they say what you want them to say. You can change them at your whimsy.

For things that require ADMIN changes (i.e. names): PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have patience!!! You can send Torq a PM with your name change (please include your CURRENT name AND the name you are requesting the name change to in the body of the message), but do take note that it might take some time to make the change, as we are obviously backlogged right now with a bunch of stuff from the server crashout.

Additionally, you will note that the forums looks different: we know. PLEASE don't send us PMs telling us... we're aware of it already & we're working hard to get it back to what it SHOULD look like... but again, it takes time... so go ahead & post now where you think it should be & then we'll re-arrange the sub-forums areas as we can get to it.

Chatters: we know it's down. We PROMISE we're working to get it back up & running ASAP. We know you guys can't live w/o your addiction for too long ;-) When it's up WE WILL MAKE A POST that it's up... so PLEAAAASE don't flood the boards w/messages that it's down.

Thanks EVERYONE for your patience as we work through this massive loss of data et al. Recieved an email from Tiger about the upper floor, with that email recieved another email this one said site admin , the weird thing was the return address is X@rambler.ru It was dated with same time stamp as Tigers, cant log in , My email is midnytedreams@yahoo.com

Arrg! I had been waiting for over a week for Stone to approve my 4th & 5th level 1 tasks, and now they are gone. Along with the first 3 that had been signed off. I don't know that I'll be able to remember what I wrote the first time.

I know, not major in the grand scheme of things, but I'm still bummed.

UPDATE FOR CHAT

We're almost ready to put chat back up, but we're waiting on a portal to be re-opened on the main server... so almost there, but not quite... hang in there gang!!!

We are working to continue to "fix" everything as much as we can... there is also a thread in Tech Corner that has more "hourly" updates to check if you are looking for that sort of thing.

If you are looking for a specific issue that you don't think has been solved, you can try to PM Torq or I, but please have some patience--we both have HEAPS of PMs in our PM inbox-es, so we are trying to prioritize & sift through as much as we can.

Additionally, sending emails to "webmaster@bdsmlibrary.com" is THE VERY SLOWEST method of getting assistance. Send us a PM here in forums for quicker assistance.

We are working as hard & as fast as we can to get everyone up & running as much as possible, though clearly with the 6-7 month loss of data, there will be a siginificant loss of information.

We hope the entire community here on the site will pull together & move forward and continue to post, laugh, and have a great time as we always have done.

I was corresponding with another author and sent him your link to my 6 stories. I discovered today that my last three are now gone. I'm sure that's happened to other authors too. Fortunately I posted them to another site and kept copies as well. I'm sure you hard working folks have figured out what's wrong or soon will. Then you'll be able to restore what's been lost. If not, let me know and I'll resend the last three of my stories to you so they can be reposted. This should be interesting to the folks at askjolene.com. They post links to your stories as a free service. Who knows what will happen to them? All the best to your site.

When we get to the recovery point for stories & decide what to do re: re-uploading those, Torq will make a post to the authors or will re-load them all. Given that the ENTIRE site suffered the data loss, yes, the stories since 3/1 were lost as well in some capacity, though not completely, given how they are processed (i.e. a copy may be retrievable). Still debating what the best recovery method is at this point, and haven't made a decision as of this instant moment in time.

Hi A/all, well it is back to the start for me lol, but i am back. Found that when i plugged in my original name and password from when i signed up i was in, so now the process starts again. Hope all my friends come back and still want to be friends lolol.
