Get the feedback of the readers here and maybe win some much needed cash. I think it is a wonderful idea. In this economy, who can't appreciate some extra cash for doing what we all love anyway.

I haven't written a story for the libary yet but I am interested still a bit shy about my writing perhaps the pictures can help me open up a bit

By all means I'd love to write a story strictly from a picture. As a matter of fact, Cynthia Palmer's New Life Got started from a picture contest on another site. I liked the story so well that I decided to keep it going. So Bring the pics on and let's get to writing.

Are we talking single picture here or a series, or picking one from a menu? I based my current story provisionally called Mr Stephensons Racer, around a picture from the site suggested, the woman's posture suggested the scenario, I conceptualised a machine under her!, (and shifed my chosen period from 19th to 21st century, and six generations later) but it would be great to compare the way the same scene inspires different writers to imagine different scenarios especially the events preceeding and following the snapshot.
I need reassurance that those people in the pictures are cool with them being used this way.

Would there be multiple pictures to choose from, or would everyone be using the same pictures to draw the story from? Either way, I like the idea.
