Server Issues, Etc

it logs me out and says I am not allowed to answer, even when I am actually still logged in.

This GMC would like to change my name but have my old back so iam going to re-register with GMCxx is that ok to do this can not get in to chat

So I can no longer play on the games. I keep logging in, I am told I am logged on, and then I am told I cannot post because I am not logged on.

I have removed the bookmark, cleaned my temporary files, restarted. I still get the same error. Repeatedly.

I am about to give up on this completely.

Message to th Admins.

About one in ten of my attempts to reply to a thread is successful.

I am normally a patient person (and determined and will keep trying) but my patience is wearing thin.

So - can you please find why i get a message saying i'mnot logged in each time i reply (even if I have just re logged in especially to reply)?

Not an admin, but the standard answer is:
When you log in, make sure the "Remember Me" box is checked. That seems to solve about nine in ten of this type of problem.

Is anyone else noticing that the forum is running slow, with posts, messages, etc. I saw it was down for a bit earlier today, and now it seems to be running very slow for me.

Just wanted to inquire if anyone else is noticing this.

I'm noticing it too. It seems to be taking a really long time for pages to load.

Same here. I just thought that Ma Bell hadn't waxed the strings recently.

Thanks for both of your replies. Okay. I'm glad to know it's not my computer then. We'll just have to live with it, I guess, unless the mods, or the server company, can find if there's some problem, and fix it.

No,karley, it isnt. The forum seems to be running slow, at least for me, and apparently, some others too.

Have there been changes made to the profile option of the forum, or is it just because the forum is being worked on? It used to be when I clicked my profile, it would give a full profile saying

Gender:Male

BDSM Interests: Bondage

BDSM Role :Switch

Vanilla Interests: Movies, Baseball. Now, when I click my profile on, none of those things show up. Will these options continue to be shown as they used to be in the past?

It seems as if your profile is appearing/functioning perfectly fine when I view it.

It's not functioning right for me. All it says is my join date, number of posts, and location. It used to be if I clicked on my name, it would say things like "Gender, BDSM Roles, Vanilla Interests, etc". Now, it isn't saying those things when I click on my own profile, or others, for that matter. I'm just wondering if there was a change, and if so, whether those things can be accessed so you can see them again,

it's the same for me, i can't see the details of gender or sub/dom status either. I thought it was just me but seems it is not. Something has changed.

As Torq mentioned a few days ago...the site is being worked on.
Give it some time....

I noticed the site is running much faster these days, so I guess whatever was happening behind the scenes has been worked out. Thanks Torq, for all the work you do behind the green curtain.

Yeah ditto that from Me as well. Don't know what the problem was but it is posting much faster now. Thanks Torq for the fix.

Hello Wonderful Admins,

I've been getting DB errors posting comments to profiles and blogs today. I can't post comments to blogs at all. I get an error then double comment on user profiles. I usually don't have any trouble.:d I'm using Chrome if that helps.

I got one posting this too.

Each time I try to log in, I get a thank you for logging in message, then dumped back to the login page.

I haven't been on here for awhile... did a search for my posts and threads... found a handful of them, but nothing more.

I had some writing on here, some poetry and prose (erotic both) and when I looked in each of those subforums, searching back to the time period I would have posted, I couldn't find.

Besides that, an advanced search for "All" by _Eponine_ comes up with nothing at all.

Are some things purged for any reason?
