In public and leashed!

Hi all! Just wanted to let you guys know what happened to me today!


After Master got off work at 6pm (tonight) and we went to the mall.
There's a Target built inside the mall, and he bought me a leash!!!!!

OMFS! I was soo happy! And after he paid, he opened it and leashed me. And walked me a like a kitty! And it was so fun!

I felt so happy and content. I was on cloud nine! Which is a big deal for me since I'm always almost depressed (not to the point of suicide just enough for me to be "EMO" and cut), or I'm pissed the fuck off.

And we went to HOTTOPIC to look for some makeup and there we saw one of my old vanilla friends (she never did believe me that I was My Master's kitten untill now) from school.

She was like "HI how are you? What is that? What's up with that?"
And I grinned as my Master answered "She's my kitty."
"OH! You're gonna be a kitty for Halloween?"
"Yeah I am."
"No, she's just my kitty."
"Yes I'm Master's Kitty."

and she walked off.

And it was so funny to see all those vanillas staring at me. It was so fun. I liked it so much.

Hmm.

I understand having one's fun.

But...my personal preference isn't to make everyone around me uncomfortable.

After all, they are "vanilla" for a reason.

Just, in my humble opinion.

I really don't care what people around me think. Personally I was just ecstatic to be with my Master with a leash. Since I've been pestering him for one for a while now.

Sounds like you had a good time and was very happy being collared and leashed. As I'm into public humiliation and showing up I understand that.
I can understand hopperboo's point of view too though.

Obviously you do care what people think of you, because you like making your old friends and the public uncomfortable....

I can't help feel sorry for the people that are forced into playing a game they didn't sign up for.

Public play can be done if it's done tactfully and in the right places, at the right times.

I personally would be very upset if I had my children in the mall while people were playing their kinky games. Though it is nearer to Halloween so hopefully that would be an easy way to explain it.



Maybe playing with your leash in not such a public place, or perhaps in a different area/time would be another possibility.

I understand both sides of the argument. Personally, I love public humiliation, but one does have to be careful not to offend innocent members of the public for fun. I mean- I have many fantasies that involve public audiences, but I think it would be best not to act them out.

I think hopperboo is right that it isn't good to subject unwilling vanillas to lots of kinky games- but I also understand that Helena wanted to show off. I personally have a nice long chain leash that I would love to go out in public on with my Master- but I cannot think of many situations in which it would be appropriate. I think, and I apologize if I am wrong, possibly Helena had some bad experiences with those vanilla friends that understandably made her want to show off to them.

Again, I apologize if I assume too much, Helena. I just know it can be hard to draw the line between public fantasies and practical realities.

You know though...one can still wear a leash in public if they stick to a more "fully adult" place, and do so later on in the evenings.

i.e. BDSM or goth bars, or even just regular bars that cater to those over 21. Even walking around the city at at dark, after the 'younger' age group is out of view.

I totally agree with the romance of public humiliation, but I wouldn't want someone else to suffer something they are offended by because I am purposefully trying make them suffer so.

I think some people should get of their high horse. This is a bdsm site and she was looking to share a happy experience, not to be put down. Especially as they weren't doing anything wrong or causing anyone any trouble...if some people don't like it - they shouldn't watch...its no different then people holding hands or kissing...they were hardly fornicating in public or going around naked.

As for making people uncomfortable...oh please...there are punkers walking around with spiked heads, smelly homeless people, people yelling on their cell phone, mummies in dirty sweats with their progeny running wild (seeing a lash might give them a good idea, :rolleyes:), preteen girls walking around in provocative clothing, mothers nursing in public, teenagers making out, grown ups making out....my point is, whatever one does he is going to offend someone,...and they didn't even come close to crossing the line of indecency.

For me personally, while I would like to do that, I don't have the courage to do that in a public place.
There can be a fine line when you openly express yourself in public, but I don't think that wearing a collar and leash is going overboard.
It might create a few stares and sniggers, but no one is doing anything truly offensive.
Taking a submissive out naked, tying them up and having sex with them in public would be crossing a line.
The couple in Ontario, who were roleplaying crossed a line. He tied and gagged his submissive in a convertible; subsequently the police were called.

There are also a lot of people who choose to wear goth style clothing, and that elicits a lot of stares, but it doesn't harm anyone in the long run.
Women are allowed to go topless in Ontario, and there were a couple of women that did so here where I live. I would worry more about my childeren seeing that than a woman on a leash.

Yes, women are allowed to go topless in a few places in the US. I know they are definitely allowed to in New York state, not sure which other states. It is because it is viewed as gender discrimination for men to be allowed to be topless but not women.

Yup, but after that a by-law was put into place that does not allow women to be topless in residential areas or beaches.

There is no harm in stating your opinion, however it is best to criticize the act on a personal level for you, not the person (if that makes sense)

It makes me very uncomfortable to see women breastfeeding in public...and they even think they should be complimented. :rolleyes:

I have never been in a homosexual mall either...but that doesn't mean that them holding hands in public doesnt make some people uncomfortable or that they should be banned or told to go hold hands some place else because of it.

It makes me very uncomfortable to see teenagers practically having sex in public transport...but they still do it, and the only reason why is....because they like making older people uncomfortable.

Wearing a collar or leash..in our lifestyle constitutes wearing a ring. A bride gets a kick out of showing off her ring, so why shouldn't Helena get a kick showing off her leash and bragging how much she is happy with her master. Its only human.

I love being on my Owner's leash whenever possible it is for me a great privelage.

As you can see the idea of public bondage/ehibition is a little controversial for some of us for various reasons. I myself have been known on occassion to be dressed rather strange (goth/punk rock girl here), but once I started working and pursueing careers where aperance is important etc, I realized a need for some sence of decency even If it bugs the crap out of me sometime. Right now I am a student. I want to study art so that I can draw comics, and English since I also want to be a novelist (to what kind of novels I've not decided yet). And since I'm all into the gothic metal head scene the choice of dress doesnt really bother me. And especially since I wasnt wearing anything revealing.

Personally for me, I would worry more about children seeing all the violence on the tv than some naked breasts.
Breasts dont kill people (or a child´s mind for that matter), but violence and guns/knives/whatever can ;)
