Im writing a story, just started and havn't really gone into detail with ages of people in them...would it be incorrect to host all the people in my story as teenagers, like 15-18. I mean usualy bdsm stories involve adults, has anyone ever had this idea? Is it a good idea?
A local paper that scared the piss out of me.
The program is called prediter.
It involve The FBI and home land Security and local law inforcment. They are scanning Chat rooms looking for Colectors of Child Porn and Child Porn Storys.
Not posters mind you they are going after collectors any one that downloads a pic or a story with an illustration. :eek:
Now i am not into children in the least. Frankly I find them enoying and rude.
But I have downloaded Incest and pedo storys in bulk from MR dubles website. Wanting to sort out the realy yung ones for the good ones that I like in the age range of 16-18.
While a text story is safe as long as it has no illustrations it can be misconstrude that I collect child porn.
And since I have a large collection of pics they could seaze my computer and go through pic by pic looking for somthing that they could nail me on.
They do not have to find child porn on a system for it to be seazed. And once you are arested for that crap you are a child porn guy regardless if you are one or not.
I think it is time to burn it to CD's and whipe the drive.
In answer to your question, lapog, it's been done frequently, and there's nothing wrong with it. Many of the stories with the 'teen' code in the Library are similar to your idea. I think you should go for it.
While I'm all for nailing those who abuse children sexually (and taking sexually explicit photographs of children qualifies), I'm at a loss as to why HOMELAND SECURITY is in on this one. Unless, of course, it's just another case of a big-brotherish organization overstepping its already bloated bounds.

I believe that it would be naive to censor the fact that teenagers are sometimes involved in real life bdsm.
I started practicing self-bondage and discipline when I was only 11 or 12 years old and I had been fantasizing about it long time before that age. Granted, I did not know very well what I was doing but a well written story with that theme would resonate with my own experience.
These days, the age which is considered good for sex when thought of by teenagers is irrelevant. I've heard of 14 year olds and middle-schoolers becoming pregnant, and this was only a few weeks ago. Younger kids aren't innocent and oblivious the way they used to be. We all know that I have a particular despisal of the younger generation, i.e. high school and below. Nowadays, sex is as common as hugging or even shaking hands. From what I've seen, MOST high school girls are useless (well, they have nice, fresh bodies for the men of my stories to admire, but then again, you can tell my stories are fiction because the girls are virgins) and most high school guys are 'wiggers', jocks, and downright dipshits. But this is just what I have observed.
As for story codes, this is the way I look at it. "Teen" covers people from thirTEEN years to nineTEEN years old, young covers twelve and under.

I first discovered my submissive side when I was in high school. I was fouteen and Chris was eighteen, and we'd fool around in the library after school when we were working on the school newspaper. The point I'm trying to get at here, though, is that whether we like to think about it or not, teenagers (and, judging from the news, little kids too) engage in sex. To deny that would be to deny a basic fact of nature. Back in the caveman days, as soon as a girl had her first period she was married off to some cro-magnon who took her whenever he wanted to, and by the time she was eighteen, she'd have a toddler on each leg and a baby on her hip. (Imagine that. I had my first period when I was seven. By the time I was eighteen I'd have had at least five or six babies!)
Anyway, back on topic. Teens have sex. Like rabbits, if my senior class were any sign. They explore their bodies even as they start exploring the world (by getting jobs) and explore the limits of their parents' tempers (anyone with teens, or who has kids who were once teens, will understand.) While our current societical expectations are that they will wait until they are 'legal', there are very few teens who actually do wait. Therefore, i really don't think that the government banning teen/older person literature, photos, and other media is really going to make any difference whatsoever. And i think maybe they realize that. It's kind of like sticking your finger in a little hole in the dyke while watching water pour out of a big gap further down the wall! But they still try to stop it because some little piece of their minds is insisting that mother nature's implanted urge to explore the body is wrong.
I guess it's only natural that your opinions change as you get older. I personally wouldn't want to read anything that revolved around real young kids. I personally find it repulsive. I think the "legal" limit of 18 years old, at least in the US, is a little unrealistic and the product of laws developed by the bible thumping framers of the constitution back in the 1700s. The fact is, I don't know if I know anyone who has ever waited until 18 to become sexually active...and I grew up in a time that was much less liberal than the present.
From a "personal experience" perspective, however...I had a rep for dating young girls (20 to 28) well into my forties. I'm forty-five now. What an education I got when I finally went out with a girl with a little "experience". The "over thirty" chicks really know how to do it! They are just so much wiser, more secure, and less inhibited. I don't think I'd ever go back!
I think the legal limit for teen sex has become a bit...fuzzy. On paper, it's 18 years of age. But in reality, kids are having sex for the hell of it. It's no longer a symbolic event in one's life, it's America's pastime. I've heard of middle school kids (13 or 14) already pregnant. Gee, another useless high school dropout on welfare. There aren't enough of those around. And don't try to tell me that this could have been avoided. With these sex ed programs in school, kids ARE aware of the consequences of their actions. And from what jaeangel said, kids are aware of sex LONG before the teenage years.
God doesn't have to make another flood to turn this place into a craphole. He'll just sit around and watch this friggin' younger generation do it.

I'm 19 and have not yet engaged in sexual activity. I have, however, been visiting adult content websites, such as this, from a very young age- probably 13 or 14. I grew up with my brothers friends, 10 years my senior, teaching me the "ways of men". I was a quick learner and enjoyed teasing them, learning how to play the game... though our interactions were, in retrospect, inappropriate, their intentions were good and they would never touch me until I turned 18. Someone found and posted a link to a 'legal age of consent' chart for countries all over the world. It was really interesting; in the country where I was born (South Korea) I could have had sex at the age of 13!
In both the school I attended in the days of my youth and the district I reside in now, there is no sex education.
This thread was under a general 'Story ideas' heading, but it turns out to be an ethics forum about actual BDSM for underage persons. Which any sane person would disapprove of, of course.
While such a forum may well be justified and interesting, I generally lament the fact that BDSM Library's forums are more and more community- and lifestyle-oriented, and leave very little room to discussion/avancement of erotic literature in the BDSM genre.

I do lament the multiplying of threads that drift onto the same topic (age of consent, for example, when there's at least one thread TITLED "Age Of Consent"; or Tourguide's pet peeve of breast bondage popping up in unrelated threads). Wouldn't it be refreshing if someone who had an overwhelming urge to moralize or issue a warning took a moment to search for, "Don't go there, homie!" and bring back an old thread that's already drifted, rather than polluting a new one?

It seems that the sexual revolution has now come to full flower, resulting in the deflowering of kids at earlier and earlier age. Now, if a certain percentage of us older folks are attracted to this kind of sexual activity, then it follows that a similar percentage of the teens would, too. Perhaps more! With the increase rate of broken homes, single-parent households, domestic violence, etc. going on, then it's a reasonable assumption to think that these dysfunctional relationships among the younger teens will result in dysfunctional sexual expectations--and practices.
The important thing to remember is that all this stuff has to be consensual if it is actually performed. If it is not, then it has to be strictly fiction! The way political and moral trends are going, I don't see the "age of consent" being lowered anytime soon. It may be that a "de facto" lowering may occurr: sex among younger teens will be tolerated, as long as it doesn't create a problem, but will be acted upon if it does (pregnancy, delinquency, etc.) Then adult-younger teen sex might follow. For example, many areas have "de facto legalization" of small quantities of marijuana. Enforcement is rare, except for when it is part of another problem (say, a disruptive person or a car accicent). Then they arrest you!
But regarding the posting of young teen sex stories! As long as there is a proper disclaimer, I don't think anybody is going to get in trouble there.
