I'm wondering if anyone out there has had the experience of choosing someone for a Dom/me who's not in the life but has it in them?
I'm not very hard core, I probably have more hard limits than most Doms would appreciate. That's why I wonder if it might be better...
Thoughts?

i think it might be better to start slower. i think it might help to begin to talk to some Dom/mes, and try to find someone in the lifestyle before trying to convert someone. Just my thoughts

I'm not saying I'm new to the lifestyle but rather that I met someone I like that is. I am not fool enough to think I can "go vanilla" though. I like vanilla sometimes, just not all the time...
Does that make sense? I'm not looking for a 24/7 Master to Dominate my entire existence. I have too much going on in my life for that. That alone makes me a loser in both worlds. Too much freak or not enough.

I'm sorry that wasn't very much information in your first post. I still do think maybe o/l Master or someone you could met periodically might be a good start. I don't you are a loser at all. Just need to find the right person for you.

It sounds like you are eager to find a real Dom or Domme, but what lady kissa said is correct. Go slow. Be selective and honest. Before you allow anyone to put you in bondage, make sure you trust He or She. Have a frank discussion about hard limits. If you want to be a submissive, be one. That means giving up control of a sexual scene. Once your passed the trust part, don't try being a top from a bottom position. Don't order a Master or a Mistress to do anything. He or She will order you.
