There are many different ways for members to participate on the Library, both actively & more passively.
Please note: these options require you to be REGISTERED with the site!!!

FORUMS (must be registered)
You are currently in the Forums area of the site. Once you register, MANY ADDITIONAL AREAS/SUB-FORUMS WILL APPEAR!!
Feel free to peruse and read the threads at your leisure, or simply jump in & post! You can search the forums for past posts on any topic that interests you, or, if you don't find a post on the topic, you can start a new thread in the sub-forums area relating to the issue/topic that you wish to discuss. There is a little of something for everyone in the Forums!

You can also search for specific members, or post on other members' visitor walls. If you are looking to find that "special someone," you might peruse the Personals Section, or engage in the Chatroom with other members.

The Forums is broken down into many sub-forums, including areas dedicated to BDSM 101, Role-Specific BDSM Q & A, General BDSM Topics, My BDSM Life section, and the Photo Library.

If you're looking for local events or meetings, there's a section for that--you can read about what's going on in your area, worldwide, or wherever you are traveling to.

If you are a writer, you might be interested in the Writer's Block, the Poetry Section, or the Prose Section.

If you enjoy discussion current events, there is a Library Cafe area dedicated to such topics.

If you don't find what you are looking for, there's a Suggestion Box to offer your suggestions!

Let us get to know more about you! In this section of the forums, found as a link at the top of the main forums page, you can upload an avatar that will appear under your user name on every post you make & in your profile, create a signature block that appears under every post you make, enter more details about yourself into your profile, change options for your user ID, and many other things.

Private Messaging
Members can private message other members through the Forums on the site. Members can send eachother messages that will appear in their inbox, and function much like an on-site, private "email" system.

Chat
At the top of the forums page, you will see a link to chat. You can click that & chat away with other members on the site. Please make sure you read the Chat Guidelines (in the Welcome to the Library section in Forums!) so you are familiar with them before you enter the chat room. Chat is a great way to meet new folks from around the world in a real-time setting.

Blogs
Every member can set up and utilize a blog on the site. The blogging feature is linked to the Forums but is seperate from the main Forums area. The blog area has an almost unlimited capacity for blogging, and members can post about the goings-on in their lives, their experiences in BDSM, and their hopes for the future.

The Tasking Society
In the Society, you can learn more about the art of tasking through active participation. Taskers (Dominants) learn how to better write/create tasks here, while Taskees (submissives) learn about themselves through participation in various different types of tasks. This area is access-restricted, so be sure to ask for access in the appropriate tasking access thread. It may take 7-10 days for your access to be processed. Once processed, you are entered into Level 1 in the appropriate track & are then on your way under the guidance of the Tasking Coordinators.



STORIES
Our site has over 7,000 stories--something for every desire, kink, fetish & mood! If you are interested in becoming an author, you can try your hand at writing anytime & submit your first story through the story submission process! New stories are processed & posted frequently, so look for updates! Stories can be accessed through the main BDSMLibrary page or via: www.bdsmlibrary.com/stories or through the Forums via the "Stories" link at the top of the main stories page.
