It was strange being lucid. Something she was looking forward to getting use to. There were times when she was apart from Cian for a couple hours that the voices returned but she did not feel overwhelmed by them any more. The solution was usually as easy as simply going to find him. His presence brought a sense of balance to her life and mind.
Sitting on the porch she waited to feel his hand on her shoulder. When she walked out, he had been doing something on the computer again. Finding it boring she had left him with the stuffed cat and went outside to get some air. That and she tended to distract him every chance she got. Since whatever he did with the machine was generally important she tired to behave herself.
Hearing his approaching first steps, Krista smiled in anticipation. At least till she noticed the pattern of his walk. Something was wrong. Looking up, waiting. She listened patiently before smiling. She still tended to smile and laugh at inappropriate things. Trying to be semi sober she nodded. Though it was apparent she did not get the entire concept of the trip. Not that it really mattered, where Cian went, she went. “You have a seriously strange family….”
Standing up her arms slipped around him for a second before she went past him to pack. Krista was half way through packing before she realized that Greece was going to require a plane flight. That got her excited. It had been many years since she had last flown. This could be amusing.
