Hello lovely Dominants,

I was hoping some of you may have some advice for me in relation to making choking/breath play as safe as possible - is there such a thing as safe breath play?

I've heard a mixture of ideas - one was that you should squeeze from the sides as the larynx is delicate. However squeezing at the sides you'll cut off the flow from both carotid arteries - thus leading to hypoxia and brain cell death. This leads me to thinking that cutting off the airway is slightly safer as even if you can't draw breath as adults we have a small oxygen reserve in our circulating volume.

But that means squeezing form the front and your airway is just rings of cartilage, no bone and not very strong. So surely choking from the front runs the risk of damaging your airway and if your airway collapses you're in big trouble?!

Any ideas?!
