She wonders if he knows or cares how much he hurt her
His cruel and hurtful words slicing through her
Each word and accusation felt like a physical strike against her skin with a cold blade
Her heart and soul became numb with each word he sneered at her in disgust

Falling to her knees at his feet she coward in disbelief and fear
How could he strip her bare and deny her?
She stared at his feet as his deep voice vibrated around the room

How did everything go so horrifically wrong so fast?
The moment she said it; the moment she let it out it was over
A minor error in judgment now costing her everything she desired
The worst evil was yet to come for her

His last commands felt like his hand was grabbing her up by the hair
Pushing her naked body roughly on the cold wet streets
Her knees and palms of her hands now scratched and bloody
She could barely whisper as she begged for his forgiveness

Days past before the tears began to surface
Now they fill her as each minute passes through her day and she feels like she is drowning
Alone in her bed she cries and mourns the loss of him
The need for his comfort aches her but she will never feel shelter from him again

Now she feels that she was nothing but an evil hidden secret
She was never special to him like she let herself believe
He is gone and her dark demons sing her to sleep
