Lori would never have guessed there would be a police car this far out in the outback in the early morning. She did not realize she had been speeding until the police officer turned the siren on behind her. She quickly pulled over.

"I know you are, it is just the proper form of address in my sheriff's department", he said.
Standing up, Lori fully realized how tall the officer was. Even though she had high heels on, he was a head higher than her. She admired his height and his fit, muscular body. He guided her to stand with her hands on the roof of her car.
"Aren't you gonna cuff me?" Lori said.
"Do I need to?"
"Sure you do, you don't know what's hidden behind my clothes." She smiled at her own joke, whatever could be hidden under her tight dress?
Without any effort, he took her arms and cuffed them behind her back. Then she felt his hands going down the sides of her body.
"I need to know your name", the officer said, matter of factly. "You will have to sit in the back of my car until I can get a verification that you have a driving licence and give you a ticket for speeding."
