I post this as an example of a contract that after a week worth of negotiation we completed.

Consensual DS Agreement
This document specifies the responsibilities of __________ (hereafter, "the Master") and _______ (hereafter, "princess") as a part of a consensual dominance/submission, agreement between them. This is a private agreement between the Master and princess (hereafter, "the Parties"), and under no circumstances are any or all of the contents of this agreement to be given to any other party.
1. PERIOD OF AGREEMENT. This agreement shall be valid from midnight of __________until midnight of __________. This agreement shall immediately become null and void if any of the following occur:
1.1. Either of the Parties becomes seriously ill, is hospitalized, or dies;
1.2. Either of the Parties delivers notice to the other of His or her desire to terminate this agreement.
1.3 This contract is subject to all: mutually agreed upon' terms and conditions. Any breach of the commands of Safe, Sane, Consensual sex as well as mutually agreed upon preset limits, will be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement.
2. CONSIDERATION OF THE MASTER.
In consideration for princess’s fulfillment of this agreement, Master agrees to guide and shape princess with respect to sexual, sensual, and related behaviors, and to help princess work toward the realization of being a happy and self-fulfilled individual. To this end, Master agrees to carry out the following provisions, to the best of His ability:
2.1. GENERAL OBLIGATIONS
The Master shall attend to the physical, mental, and emotional and spiritual being of His princess.
2.2. TRAINING SESSIONS
The Master shall provide at least one formal DS training session per month.
2.3. PUNISHMENT AND REWARD
Master shall punish princess for inappropriate and/or undesirable behaviors, actions, etc. Master shall reward princess for appropriate and/or desirable behaviors, actions, habits, thoughts, etc. as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
3. CONSIDERATION OF PRINCESS.
In consideration for Master 's fulfillment of this agreement, princess agrees to be Master 's D/s sub. To this end, princess agrees to fulfill the following requirements, to the best of her ability:
3.1. OBEDIENCE
princess will devote herself, in mind, heart, soul and body, to the will of her Master .
princess will obey Master as mutually agreed.
3.2. TRUTHFULNESS
princess agrees to answer any question put to her by Master as clearly and as truthfully as is possible.
3.3. AVAILABILITY
princess agrees to make her body available whenever, and however the Master wishes, as mutually agreed upon.
3.4. RESPECTFULNESS
princess agrees to address Master as 'Master' at all times unless permission is granted to address Him otherwise or she is otherwise directed, or in public or in the presence of family. princess agrees to speak to and about the Master with respect at all times.
4. SYMBOLS OF DOMINANCE.
Master shall provide princess with a token symbolizing her submission and His Dominance. It will also be representative of His responsibility toward her as well as symbolic of their commitment to one another. This token shall be suitable to wear in all circumstances and shall be worn by princess at all times as mutually agreed upon. Training collars will be used in private.
SAFEWORD
princess's safe words shall be
RED ....emergency status... stop session....disconnect all bindings etc.
WHITE....Stop current activity..undo bindings and continue session
BLUE....Pause session to assess.
If princess calls out any of these safe words then Master will immediately follow the commands of those safe words.
LIMITATIONS.
The Parties agree to never knowingly subject the other to anything that will
cause permanent physical and/or psychological harm. Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, the Parties shall not do anything that would in any way damage or harm the children of any of the Parties, nor do anything which would interfere with the family and/or parental obligations of the other, nor do anything which would interfere with the employment obligations and/or the employability of the other.

Any changes to the rules will be negotiated
1-Since your health is a prime concern of Sir Russell you will be expected to tell Him about feeling ill and seek medical attention when you determine it is appropriate. Master will expect you to keep Him informed of treatment and their level of success.
2-When Sir Russell asks for changes in routine, behavior, methods, etc. He will discuss it with you and if we are in agreement that those changes should be made, you will do your best to make it happen... It is understood that major changes will take time and Sir Russell will be looking for a sincere attempt toward the change.
3-princess has the right to have a day off each week away from her sub duties. That day off is NOT to include any time away from Master unless it is mutually agreed upon that the time away from Master is needed or necessary. Contact by phone, online or in person can/will happen on those days off. The designation of the day off will be by mutual agreement between Master and princess. Princess is not allowed to ask for a day off if she is being punished on that day.
4-Always try and present a smile. Try to always be happy and enthusiastic.
5-Be Proud! You are finally in your nature, your true self! If you have agreed to this life style you have come to terms with your spirit. Now you can truly be adored for that inner beauty. You are precious and your Master will be honored by your submission. It will be an indication of our superior characteristics. In all things, exhibit dignity.. You are submissive and you are swollen with pride, glow from the reality it suggests. In all things, be the best you can be, and be proud. This is not a suggestion, this is a command.
6-Be honest in all things large or small as will your Master at all times. Dishonesty in any form is a breach of trust, which may warrant an immediate termination of the contract by either the Master or sub or may warrant punishment for princess if she is the one who has been dishonest.
7-Elegance and Eroticism are seemingly opposing and yet complimentary concepts. To be sensually and sexually exciting but with great refinement and style is our goal. To incorporate the mind with our sensuality and sexuality
I speak of panache many times within our environment and in fact it is the careful balance of these concepts of style and wanton lust that we will strive for..
10-Your collar will be worn at all times. Wearing the collar is a symbol of your devotion to your Master....your submission and offers you the opportunity to feel the presence of your Master at all times. You may change the actual physical form of your collar but you will always be in contact with it.
11-Bathe and cleanse your body daily. Try and empty your mind of worldly things and fill your mind with the wonder of your submission as often as you can each day.
12-Accessories such as scarves, hats, gloves, earrings, rings, necklaces, chains around waist or ankles, bracelets are generally of your selection. Do so creatively. Wear them creatively.
13-Your standard clothing for `private` wear will always include your collar and Master shall select princesses clothing for private time together ......with the exception of those days that princess wants to surprise Master with her creativity and innate sensuousness.
14-princess will keep herself shaved for Master.
5-will the Master set any rituals
1-princess is to continue her nightly self-pleasuring as long as it does not conflict with her nightly task.
2-princess will wear cuffs each night to sleep and whenever alone at home or in your room I want the cuffs on you Master will define cuffs but never to be metal or locked
3-Master will make princess aware of his deep feelings for her daily

6-what does Master choose for public collar?
Master prefers a choker style necklace that he and princess shall find together.
7- -what toys, tools, and or equipment would Master have/need
Toys we have ........any new ones will be discussed before I get them
8- going over safe words...and safety issues.
Before any session that may get close to princess’s limits all safe words and/or gestures will be reviewed and discussed.
Red, white, blue as per the contract
1-Safe words are listed in the contract...red, white and blue....Master will learn these safe words and will respond to those safe words immediately...without hesitation.
2-Master will allow princess short regular breaks from session to attend to her health needs.
3--Master will never risk hurting vital organs and will keep His play away from those areas...they include the kidney..lungs...heart...head...face...neck....and any other body space that may cause injury or damage to the sub. Never allowing any body part to become discolored or numb from lack of proper circulation.
4--Master will offer princess an alternative to safe words in the event a gag is in place.(ie: gestures or other form of warning)
5--Master will make sure the princess is doing ok by asking her often to be sure He is not putting her at risk of harm
6--Master will allow princess to eat every 3 hours and will offer her something to drink as often as she may need hydrating.
7- -Master will pay attention to signs ( body language, sounds etc ) that his princess is in trouble
8--Master will not cause injury that would require medical attention such as bleeding from cuts or bruising.
9--Master will allow for easy escape from all types of restraints...ropes etc in the event something were to happen to Master during session or princess needs quick escape for her own physical or mental health. He will keep a tool close to Him at all times to aid in removing the bondage
10--Master will not do anything that would put princess’s life in any danger.
11-The safe word agreed upon by Master and princess can be spoken at any time-even when princess has been told to be silent. If princess is not able to verbalize it - she will trust her Master will offer an alternative method. Safe words are for princess’s protection as well as Master’s. She must be careful not to take more than she can handle, as He will need to know when to stop from getting carried away with His own passions - this will allow princess to become prepared over time to endure more for Him.
12-the safe word, verbal or otherwise, cannot be used when Master’s princess is being punished. She must remember that punishment could never be very effective if she were able to control it she must take it in full measure - so that she will focus on the correction of her behavior for the long term, for unlike discipline, punishment is not what she will want again. She should know better. However, safe words can be used when she is being disciplined - Master will let her know which is which when the time has come that such treatment is necessary to correct her behavior.

injured wrist (no affects known at this time)
bad back( when lower back is painful princess will be on top)

allergies(mold, perfumes, colognes. Can cause nausea, vomiting ,vertigo, breathing difficulties etc

hypoglycemia(need to eat every 3 hours without fail)
ear disorder(vertigo, affected by certain body positions and heat)
mouth breather( only open gags or silk)
MS (2 lesions on spine, can cause muscle contractions, numbness, and other sex positions can have an affect .)
9-Master/princess to address sublist...limit setting....levels and degree of scenes
addressed and agreed to with modifications(see checklist)
10-Master/princess to address ceremony .....edit if necessary

11-Master/princess to address contracts...modifications
At anytime other then when being punished either of the parties may request that contract be modified. Modification will be thoroughly discussed and if both parties agree the contract will be so modified. If there is no agreement either party can cancel the remainder of the contract.
12-Master/princess to address conflict management
When conflict arises between Master and princess both hereby agree to stop activities and discuss the conflict and the potential causes for it. If tempers have flared there shall be a break from any life activities for at least one hour or any amount of time each feels is needed to be calm and rational enough to continue talking about the conflict and its core cause till there is a resolution. These conflict management sessions will be conducted in a manner that shows the high level of respect and honor each holds for the other.
If the conflict is one that creates serious tension and anger then some time spent apart would be appropriate to regain a sense of calm until things can be discussed in a sane and rational manner to avoid damage to the relationship..
13-address behavior and rights of Master/princess once princess has been collared
1-When in public or with family or friends princess will not be expected to act as a sub/slave other then to show respect toward her Master. She will have the right to question any new task, instruction, rule or code till the new one is agreed too by both her and the Master.
2-The Master will not cause the sub to be embarrassed while in public or with family or friends. His actions will all ways show the deep respect he has for princess.
3-Master and princess will remain be exclusive to one another... if we share it will be together and agreed upon before hand for each occasion
4-if princess wants to be with a woman without me I am okay with that provided I know about it.
5-I have no problem with non-sexual talk with friends.
6-princess will be allowed to self pleasure herself at her choice with the exception of the times we will arrange to be together I do not want you pleasuring yourself from the time you wake up till the time we separate. If I am with you for the whole night it is my right to bring you to as many climaxes as you want Master will assist online anytime she wants his words and care to give her added pleasure. Online shall be exclusive to us unless agreed upon in advance.
7-Princess will not be made to go to any bdsm meetings, munches, clubs, dungeons, parties or any functions where others in the lifestyle will be present..
8-Master will understand that mornings are difficult and will allow time for princess to gather herself before making demands
9-Master will not enter into sexual talk or chat with any sub or lady.
10-When Master is not with his princess he will pleasure himself at his choice but all ways with his little girl as his fantasy.
11-Master will keep his IRC room and chat with friends.
12-Master will not share princess with anyone either online, phone, or in person without discussion first and mutual agreement.
13-Master will not control princess’ smoking habits or use it for any type of punishment

They will be a mix of both. Surprise scenes will be agreed upon and they are never to be limit pushing
15--any special requests from Master
any special request of Master's will not be used as a method to circumvent his Princess hard limits
16-length of contract... initial one ..And if more time wanted by both will it be extended or redone?
Initial contract to be for 3 months unless agreed upon that the pairing is not right for them. The second contract or renewal will be for a minimum of 6 months. A third contract or second renewal shall be discussed at a later date. Each contract or renewal is revocable by mutual consent or by either party avowing that they have reached irreconcilable differences.
17- journaling and tasks.
Princess will be expected to journal for Masters eyes only, to allow Master to understand her feelings deepest wants, concerns, and not just about us but anything that you think I should know Princess will journal daily for now with no minimum or maximum limits
Master will read each one at first available opportunity.
Master has the right to respond when needed by email or phone or in person
Tasks will be set with time restrictions to fail to perform completely an assigned task will draw a punishment.
18-how often will there be contact, sessions..etc
Contact will be daily even if only by phone or online,
In person contact shall be done at least 3 times a week and will include time for sessions.
19-goals for princess ......and Master/princess together....for Master
Masters goals for princess:
princess will learn to share her needs with Master,
princess shall spend time under Masters loving and concerned direction to expand her tolerance for bondage,
princess will begin an exercise program that is not stressful to her condition,
princess will find a method to share her fantasies with her Master,
princess will develop a tolerance for Masters stories from his past keeping in mind that it is not what he wants for her.
Princess will learn to trust her Master.
Princess will learn that it is ok to let Master have control.
Princess will strive for growth and allow for pushing limits to accommodate that growth.

20-family and privacy issues
1-Family will always come first for both parties...Neither Master nor princess will ever interfere with family matters of the other.
2-Family is never to know of the D/s part of the relationship.
3-Family members should always be treated with respect
21-punishment
Punishment will always fit the magnitude of transgression, and performed by both princess and Master with love and caring.
Types of punishment to include:
Restriction of eye contact will for a time could be used as punishment
restriction from pleasures
spanking for extreme behavior issues
walking behind Master for short periods
Submissive Bill of Rights
I have the right to set limits, and expect them to be respected. I have the right to adjust these limits at any time, with notice to you. I have the right to expect you to push them, to force me to create new limits and boundaries. I have the right to privacy. I expect you to be concerned about time we spend apart, but I expect you to understand that I am a person, separate from you, and thusly having problems and situations in my life that I will not need your help with. I have the right to expect you will respect me for my independence and not criticize me for it. I have the right to ask you for help, should I need it. I have the right to be trusted, providing I have earned it, and I have the right to expect you to believe I am an intelligent, caring and loyal person. I have the right to ask things of you, and have you listen to my requests. I have the right to ask for your attention, without having to misbehave to get it. I have the right to ask you to contribute as much to this relationship as I do. As long as my requests are submitted respectfully, I expect you to consider them as you would from any friend or colleague. I have the right to question your motives, should you deny my requests, as long as I do so with the proper respect. I have the right to expect you to administer your punishment with care and caution. I have the right to use my safe words at any point, should I feel them necessary. I have the right to get up and walk away from a scene if you have crossed the line. I have the right to expect you to respect my decisions, and not think less of me, or abandon me for them. I have the right to speak up if I feel our relationship is not giving me what I need. I have the right to tell you what I need, in a respectful manner. I have the right to expect you to understand my reasons for doing so, and the right to expect you to listen with an open mind. I have the right to walk away from the relationship if we cannot come to a common ground on these issues. I have the right to expect tenderness, love and understanding after a scene is completed, should it be what I desire. I have the right to ask you for that tenderness if I've had a bad day, or if I just feel the need for closeness. I understand that there will be times when you and I will disagree about this - when you will want a scene, and I will not. I have the right to call for a talk about this, and to expect you to listen to and consider my reasoning. I expect you to have the final word, but I expect you to wholeheartedly consider my feelings, what ever they may happen to be. I have the right to expect our relationship to progress, for trust to continually be renewed, for our souls to be as close as our bodies are. I have the right to tell you if I need more from you, and I expect you to respect my decisions about what I want and need. I expect you to want the relationship to progress, unless decided otherwise before hand. I expect you to understand that deep trust often breeds love, and I expect you not to repel me if I tell you that I love you. For, my Master, I will love you, should our relationship move ahead, should our trust continue to grow. I have the right to expect you to tell me, at any point, if you do not feel you can return those feelings, so that I may decide what I want and need. For it is your pleasure that adds to my own, makes it real. And mine, that adds to yours.

This one is for the more experienced and is for M/s not for a sub.

This contract is provided as a secure and binding agreement which defines in specific terms the
relationship and interaction between two individuals, hereafter termed the slave and the
Master. This agreement must be entered voluntarily, but cannot be broken except under the
conditions stated herein.

General Rules ........
1- The slave agrees to obey her Master in all respects. Her mind, body, heart and soul
belong to Him.

2- The slave accepts the responsibility of using her safeword when necessary, and trusts
implicitly in her Master to respect the use of that safeword. If a condition arises in which the
slave needs to use the safeword or gesture, her Master will assess the situation, and
determine an appropriate course of action.

3- The slave shall keep her body available for the use of her Master at all times.

4- The slave shall demonstrate her acceptance of her role of service and availability at all
times while at home and at other times and places specified by her Master.
5- The slave acknowledges that her Master may use her body or mind in any manner He
wishes within the parameters of safety and as mutually agreed upon..

6- The slave will answer any questions put to her honestly and directly, and will volunteer
any information her Master should know about her physical or emotional condition. She will
phrase her concerns politely and respectfully, and then gracefully accept her Master's judgment
in these matters without further complaint as mutually agreed upon.

7- The slave will always speak of her Master in terms of love and respect. She will address
Him at all times as "Master" ( see Public Rules of Conduct)

8- The slave agrees that punishment may be assessed for any infraction of the letter or
spirit of this contract, and will accept this correction gratefully. The form and extent of the
punishment shall be at the Master's pleasure, and the Master shall make it clear to the slave
that she is being punished when punishment occurs as mutually agreed upon..

9- The Master shall endeavor not inflict physical harm upon the slave that might require the
attention of anyone outside the relationship.

10-Master and slave agree that in extremes , either may activate a free period by using the
safeword. The free period will continue until both parties agree that the problem(s) concerned are
resolved.

11- The slave is permitted to engage in any and all activities not actively forbidden by this
contract or by later edict of the Master. All rights and privileges not otherwise noted in this
contract belong to the Master, and He may exercise them as He chooses as mutually agreed
upon.

12- There are no boundaries of place, time, or situation in which the slave may willfully
refuse to obey the directive of the Master without risking punishment, except in situations where
the slave's veto applies or to breach the rights of privacy as mutually agreed upon.

13- All conditions of this contract are on the conditions set forth and mutually agreed upon by
both the slave and her Master.

Slave's Role
The slave agrees to submit completely to the Master in all ways. The slave also
agrees that, once entered into this Contract, her body belongs to her Master, to be used as seen
fit, within the guidelines defined herein and as mutually agreed upon.

Slave's Veto
The slave, where appropriate, holds veto power over any command given by the Master, at
which time she may rightfully refuse to obey that command. This power may only be invoked
under the following circumstances, or where agreed by both Master and slave:

1-Where said command conflicts with any existing laws and may lead to fines, arrest, or
prosecution of the slave.
2-Where said command may cause extreme damage to slave's life, such as losing their job,
causing family stress, etc.
3-Where said command may cause permanent bodily harm to the slave.
4-Where said command may cause psychological trauma to the slave.
5-Where said command may overstep any mutually agreed upon limits and boundaries set forth
by the slave and her Master

Master's Role
The Master accepts the responsibility of the slaves's body, mind, heart and soul to do with
as He see fit, under the provisions determined in this contract and those mutually agreed upon.
The Master agrees to care for the slave, to arrange for the safety and well-being of the
slave, as long as He owns the slave. The Master also accepts the commitment to
treat the slave properly, to train the slave, punish the slave, love the
slave, and use the slave as He sees fit under the terms and conditions of the mutual agreement.

Rules of Punishment
The slave agrees to accept any punishment the Master decides to inflict,
Punishment of the slave is subject to certain rules designed to protect the slave from
intentional abuse or permanent bodily harm. Punishment must not incur permanent bodily harm,
or the following forms of abuse:
Blood may not be drawn at any time. Punishment must stop immediately if blood is drawn
Burning the body
Drastic loss of circulation
Causing internal bleeding
Loss of consciousness
Withholding of any necessary materials, such as food, water, or sunlight for extended periods of
time

Permanent Bodily Harm
Since the body of the slave now belongs to the Master, it is the Master's responsibility to
protect that body from permanent bodily harm. Should the slave ever come to permanent
bodily harm during the course of punishment or in any other related activity, whether by intention
or accident, it will be grounds for immediate termination of this contract, should the slave
so desire. Permanent bodily harm shall be determined as:
Death
Any damage that involves loss of mobility or function, including broken bones.
Any permanent marks on the skin, including scars, burns, or tattoos, unless accepted by the
slave .
Any loss of hair, unless accepted by the slave .
Any piercing of the flesh which leaves a permanent hole, unless accepted by the slave .
Any diseases that could result in any of the above results, including sexually transmitted
diseases.

Private Rules of Conduct
the slave will wear the collar belonging to her Master.
She will wear no underclothes in His presence unless given permission or as mutually agreed
upon.
the slave will wear whatever is deemed appropriate by her Master.
When speaking to her Master or being spoken to by Him, the slave will assume a demeanor
of alert attention and will meet her Master's eyes directly, unless instructed to do otherwise.

Secrecy
All physical evidence of the D/s relationship will be kept in total secrecy, except where both
Master and slave agree. Any violation of this clause shall be cause to terminate this
contract, should the injured party wish it. The materials and physical evidence shall be kept
under lock and key in a place acceptable to both parties.

Public Rules of Conduct
The slave will conduct herself at all times in such a manner as to not call attention to
Master and slave.
She will call her Master by his name only if the use of 'Master' is inappropriate. The slave
will defer to her Master in public. The slave may dress herself, but must seek approval of
any clothing she wishes to wear in public with her Master. Unless specifically stated otherwise,
the slave may not wear panties unless permission is otherwise given or conditions are
mutually agreed upon.

Work Rules of Conduct
No part of this agreement is intended to interfere with the slave's career. The Master wishes
the slave to work hard and honestly, in general to conduct herself in a manner calculated to
bring honor and respect to both.
During periods of work, the slave is permitted to dress in a manner appropriate to work,
and to leave the house when necessary.

Others: The slave may not seek any other Master or lover or relate to others in any sexual
or slave way without the Master's permission. To do so will be considered a breach of
contract, and will result in extreme punishment as mutually agreed upon. Master and slave,
shall have no other partners of or apart of this agreement during the length of this contract
without first consideration and mutual agreement between both parties of this contract.

Alteration of Contract
This contract may not be altered, except when both Master and slave agree. If the contract
is altered, the new contract shall be printed and signed, and then the old contract must be
destroyed.

Termination of Contract
This contract may be terminated at any time by the Master and the slave by mutual
agreement or under special conditions explained within this contract. Upon termination, all
physical evidence of the D/s relationship, including this contract, will be destroyed, and all
materials and belongings shall be shared, divided as mutually agreed upon or kept as they see fit.
The slave shall once again own her body.

Of my own free will and out of a desire to express my devotion to my Master, I hereby offer myself
in submission to Master

for the period beginning on __________ and ending on _____________.

I consider myself to be in submission full-time to Master during the time period expressed above,
I will devote myself completely and totally to the pleasure and desires of my Master, without
hesitation.

With my signature below, I agree to accept and obey all preceding rules as well as any rules my
Master may choose to issue at a later date as mutually agreed upon. I gratefully consign by body
and soul to my Master for His pleasure and use for the contract period noted above. I have read
and fully understand this contract in its entirety. I agree to accept Master's claim of ownership
over my physical body. I understand that I will be commanded and trained and punished as a
slave and I promise to be true and to fulfill the pleasures and desires of my Master to the
best of my abilities.
The slave agrees to please the Master to the best of her ability, in that she now exists solely
for the pleasure of said Master .

I have the right to set limits, and expect them to be respected. I have the right to adjust these limits at any time, with notice to you. I have the right to tell you what I need, in a respectful manner. I have the right to expect you to understand my reasons for doing so, and the right to expect you to listen with an open mind. I have the right to expect tenderness, love and understanding after a scene is completed, should it be what I desire. I have the right to ask you for that tenderness if I've had a bad day, or if I just feel the need for closeness. I understand that there will be times when you and I will disagree about this - when you will want a scene, and I will not. I have the right to call for a talk about this, and to expect you to listen to and consider my reasoning. I expect you to have the final word, but I expect you to wholeheartedly consider my feelings, what ever they may happen to be. I have the right to expect our relationship to progress, for trust to continually be renewed, for our souls to be as close as our bodies are. I have the right to tell you if I need more from you, and I expect you to respect my decisions about what I want and need.. I expect you to understand that deep trust often breeds love, and I expect you not to repel me if I tell you that I love you.
