Looking for guidance

I am new to this site and pretty new to the world of BDSM. A girl I was dating introduced me to the concept and we played around a little then we split. I'm single now and very curious. I'm not sure where i fit or if I fit in this community and am looking for Guidance. I have been poking around links and read the glossary. Some of the stuff I found is a little extreme for me other things I feel I could work up to but it would take a long time and an experience mentor. I'm hoping to educate myself and figure out if this is for me. Any help is greatly appreciate. Thanx :)

By posting things publicly, you are more likely to get more responses that you can choose the best answer for you.

Welcome to the forums! One of the great things about the lifestyle is there are so many facets to it. Yes, some of it does seem a bit extreme and many parts of it may never appeal to you. But once you get your feet on the ground, you will likely find your opinions change on some things. I think overall it is a very enlightened world view and I'm glad you are exploring. are there many transgenered people into bdsm or is it mostly straight people. i am not sure where to find others to talk and maybe learn with.thanks ytou

i am new to the site and the lifestyle..but enjoying my new experiences..I am a switch and i enjoy dominant and submissive behavior..although my submissive is stronger now..my master does not want me to have a sub and i understand the reasoning but want to know how to control the dominant urges i still have..please help and Thank you..
