Yes, I've become a fellow gaming nerd. My Master got me into WoW and I was wondering if anyone else plays? It would be great to meet up with some fellow DOMS/SUBS in the game. :hubba:

I used to, but it was a scary black hole of time once I got into raiding...
I used to play the first real mmorpg "Anarchy Online". Never did like the whole orcs and elves stuff + it feels too cartoony for my liking. Everybody to his/her own right :)
and yeah I agree with EB. It takes TIIIME!! I guess I spent about a full working day there + my normal work to get to where I wanted in the game. The hard part is to notice when it is time to quit :p.
I was toying, for a while, with a more traditional D&D game... Dungeons & Dominants, one might even find a few suggestions for character traits in one the archives...
I do remember a comment I particularly liked... "He cast his spell, waving his magic wand, and her +4 Panties of Innocence fell and puddled around her ankles."
You seem to govern yourself regarding the whole WoW set up. But for one player, him, not so much. To date, he has 36 separate accounts that cost him almost $6000 (U.S.) a year. And that's not figuring in the time factor "expense".
In his words, "Not bad considering I知 looking at it like it痴 a hobby and there are more expensive hobbies out there than World of Warcraft."
His reasoning for doing so- "The main reason is to invade Stormwind and Ironforge when they reach top level. I知 sure the Alliance will put up a big fight when that happens. We値l see how it goes. If they don稚 make level 70 before Wrath of the Lich King, then it will be at level 80. That is my main goal. That will probably happen after I致e got some PvP gear from the battlegrounds. I知 also planning to do some 25 and 10 man raid instances but that is secondary to my PvP goal. Of course I値l be doing arenas too to build up PvP gear but I知 not expecting to do that great there because I知 way behind in gear right now. I need to get to level 70 first, then level 80 and by then I will probably have all green gear while most others have been doing the battlegrounds and arenas."

Here's a pic of his set-up.
tesse that picture was a lot. *laughs* taking geek to the limit
Yes, but what about 'Guitar Hero'. My favourite waste of time. For an old lady, I'm really quite good...
my Daddy plays WoW and for some unknown reason..he found less and less time to play this game *blushes*...
also he plays and loves D&D...i call him a geek, but hes a Sexy Sadistic Geek...giggles..
i was thinking about playing it but i was at the gym one night and some real life show came on..about real life gamers who at one time got soo consumed with this game and one who killed himself because a fellow gamer didnt want anything to do with him...he couldnt seperate the reality from the fantasy life!!
a few years back, i used to play sims online and everquest. i was completely addicted to both at different times! they take up soo much of your time and all you want to do is play, its a slippery slope and i don't want to go back to it lol
Everytime someone talks to me about WoW it's like I'm listening to a whole new language. I have a hard enough time trying to learn french and Thai, I don't have time for another one.
I am not a big fan of games, Frogger was the only game that I ever really spent a lot of free time on.
I did play the Sims, but I could never get my players off the ground. My family would somehow burn down the kitchen and they would all perish (this happened five times lol), or my single person would flirt with the next door nieghbor who happened to be married and they would always end up in a fight with the other spouse.
<<<former game store slut, fingers stained from painting 40K figs lol
Though honestly I have never actually played WoW, but Ive watched enough people play it and "ever crack" in between doing all the things we game store sluts are known for doing, winks
Mostly I played Live action Vampire with the other goths, for some reason being a bloodthrall was more apealing to me then watching people run around looking for the sword of kunark to sell on ebay
We sure wore sexier cloths than the they did at any rate, giggles
I started in D&D long before there were any RP games to play on anyones computers. little less the relatively new experience of online gaming. Its as time consuming as you let it be. YES some people get lost in it and it eats up all thier free time. If not for games it would be mocies, books, music or hanging out at the mall. So its just another way to spend and invest your time.
As for my little girl Zesty's comments. Yes i have played ALOT less since meeting her. I am a guild leader In Wow and my friends online think I have been kidnapped they see so little of me anymore. <WG> I am online just enough to keep the guild functioning and the adventures running. I spend little time online myself adventuring anymore. So its a sign you can reall learn to leave outside the gaming. LOL .....
Daumon
