What does a kinky headmaster wear?

I am stuck on this one. Robes? A mortarboard (graduation) hat? Something less silly looking than that? I need to know by next weekend, please.

1. a nice, old fashioned conservative suit
2. a robe

Cane, of course, is mandatory.
