I'm not even bothering to type out a new response...Quote:

Yeah. you. You are a knob. Go hang out on someone else's door. Don't intrude where you're not wanted.
oh! Thank God ... I was about to run and tell Alaric that we have to stop....so glad it was just a knobby manchild.
Okay people, this, to me, seems to be an honest question. It was neither rude nor sarcastic. And, personally, I did not see anything other than concern in the other thread that Knob posted.
However, I have seen some rather hostile responses from the other forum members. Also, TG has looked into this as well and it does not appear to be the person you feel it is. So, unless you have some genuine, helpful comments or knowledge, please refrain from anymore attacks.
If it does turn out to be the person you feel it is, we shall take the appropriate action. If you are concerned with what I have written or have anything else on this particular matter, please contact me privately. Thank you.
sorry.... :sorry:
Yes, medically it is awful for the body. If you don't wish to have the victim need to use Depends for the rest of their life (or at least for a long time), stay away from this. On the other side, women (and men) seem to enjoy a tight vagina, and over-stretching any muscles is bad for tightness.
thanks I find it incredulous that by asking a question i am accused by people of things i know nothing about :rolleyes:Quote:

And, there's nothing terribly wrong with this thread's topic or the 'debate' involved.
Be sure to check out these threads:

Why are so many BDSM girls fat & ugly?
My good friend, The Knob, it was foolish of you to come into the chatroom with the name "Manwhore" and ident of "whipit". Because we have your IP, and they are one and the same. Hope you had fun before all the channels banned you. Move on people, the show is over.

Thanks, LD.
In light of new evidence of his id - he has been banned. However, like the other topics he has started, I will leave this thread open as it is a good question no matter who it came from. Let's consider this matter closed.
Now - back on topic -
Is Fisting Bad For Your Health? Chksng has already made a reply. Any other takers?
Um... no thanks! :DQuote:

But seriously, here is a link to a decent article I found; some technique and a few health concerns addressed, both vaginal and anal.
http://www.holisticwisdom.com/article_sex_fisting.htm
chksng19 mentioned using "Depends" "for a long time"... I assume you are referring to only anal fisting? I couldn't imagine how vaginal fisting would contribute to incontinence.
There was another article I found that centred more on the anal side:
http://public.diversity.org.uk/deviant/fsfist.htm
I especially like the wording of the last paragraph under the "Health Problems" subheading:
"Also bear in mind that in engineering terms, fisting exceeds the design specifications of the anus and rectum. If you're fisted frequently there will probably be some long term effects. Certainly being fisted can increase your tendency to fart. You're faeces may increase in girth and you may find you want to shit at irregular intervals. But there should be little long-term effect for those who practise this intense and satisfying form of play as an occasional treat."
When looking up items concerned with health risks the first thing I look for is who wrote the article. Was it a medical professional or a layman? If not a medical professional do they provide links to substantiate their claims? If not then what is written could be and often is erroneous.
I can think of several potential health risks with fisting.
Hemorrhoids would be a major concern when dealing with anal fisting as even having large bowel movements over time can cause this problem.
The wall between the vagina and rectum is thin and can be ruptured.
Urinary incontinence is another potential risk. Even though the vagina is made to stretch for childbirth many women can attest that after multiple pregnancies the muscles just aren't the same. Stress incontinence (dribbling when sneezing or coughing) is common in women who have multiple childbirths. Kegel exercises are used to help this problem. A loss of muscle strength due to over stretching in one area of the groin can lead to problems in another area.
Infection from tears (even tiny tears that can't be seen) would be a huge concern.
These are a few of the things off the top of my head.
As a medical professional I would discourage fisting because of potential health risks. Those who do practice this should take whatever precautions needed to decrease the risks to their health (lubrication, careful cleaning of the area with the appropriate cleansing solutions, going slow, etc)
You are quite right, and that is often the problem when you get any type of information from the WWW.Quote:

While there are many reasons to discourage fisting, there will be people doing it anyway so it's a good thing that there are people spreading information on how to lessen the risks, imho.
I actually knew someone who got a tear between the vagina & rectum ... it was bad news. She suffered a lot of infections and had to have several surgeries to correct the problem. Unless you bounce back like Gumby, I would be wayyy careful!!
