I've been around quite a bit--Euopr, Asia, South and North America and the MidEast--sampled much life has to offer BUT--ran across this term: bukkake. Then I did some research to discover what it meant and I have to say, it was too extreme for me. Does anybody here find it appealing? Certainly not making a judgement.

Never really seen it -- just heard it described -- but, yeah, it's a little sexy.
About a decade ago I saw a video with two women (average looking, like real people), each of whom was trying to get the most guys possible off in an evening. And just to answer your question Bruce, no, I don’t find it appealing, unless it would be used as a punishment on a slave or humiliation method – at which point ;) - it is not supposed to be enjoyed by the recipient anyway.

The forced and Eastern European varieties sound promising. The "American School" seems to turn the whole thing on its ear. The European and Japanese versions are for middle-of-the-road practicioners.

I think this falls into the category of "unneccessary frills".
The point of the funnel (I thought) was the same as that of a gag that keeps an unwilling woman's mouth open so that she can't resist having noxious(?) fluids dripped in. This woman is obviously cooperating. The only effect this funnel would have is to reduce the amount of cum that made it to her mouth (the rest sticking to the walls of the funnel).
Of course, that may have been her plan!

I didn't know this practice had a name either...but I do find it fascinating...but then I can say that about most any kind of sex. for those who's still a bit confused about the subject. Bukkake is actually a ritual where a girl take a load of cum in her face from hundreds of men.

Actually my understanding is that it goes back much farther, originally being used as a punishment for naughty Japanese women in days of yore. Back in that day and culture it would have been considered humiliating and shameful in the extreme. Personally I find the original practice, and some slight variations on it to be quite arousing. But the extremes to which it's been taken in recent years are ridiculous (IMHO). And frankly, while I've seen a couple really nice Bukkake pics, I've never come across a sexy Bukkake film. there's more, but it seems like we can't nail down some specifics, eg does the term BUKKAKE only cover no-wiping, no-intercourse, little-interaction facial sessions; and was it a common cultural practice or just something done on a few occasions or to prostitutes.
