help! old story...can't remember.

hi.

i am trying to remember the title (or better yet, the location) of an old story i fell in love with.

it told the story of a lady swimming in the lake. she was caught by a fishing hook. the group of men bought her to their camp and tortured her.

remembered it as a very good, humiliating story. it was a long, and very well-written story. any help will be most appreciated.
