I was thinking the other day about how do people find kink friendly professions when they need medical, metal health care or even legal advice. I have read a few posts that have members avoid medical attention because the country they live in would result in the doctor reporting any marks as abuse and potentially charges resulting out of it. It does not matter if its consensual in some places or not its the health care professionals legal obligation to do so.
How bout if you feel you need mental health care of some kind, how do you find help if you can not talk about your life completely for fear you will be labeled a deviant. Never mind legal assistance if you have to deal with anything kink related. So i found that there are lists of kink friendly professionals to be found if you search for that online.
The idea that bdsm may keep some people from getting help when they need it, cause women to avoid pap smears or breast exams, men to avoid prostate exams and so on, is so so wrong. In a perfect world people help and not judge. sad to say its far from the case. Plus knowing the person is listed as understanding that the client is first in care not lifestyle will make it easier to discuss any kink related issues.
here is a few that i thought were more helpful than others i saw

this is one topic I bet most never think about til they need help and are afraid to have their lifestyle revealed with negative results. I hope this helps anyone that is needing to find this information out.
