    Finding the Best Bondage Restraints

Im looking for Cuffs (ankle and wrist)
and maybe some other stuff. Everything must be lockable and or completely impossible to get out of without the help of another.

Anyone know of any good deals and equipment suggestions I should look for before I make a purchase?

I like my money, but I also dont like bad crap.

    Any Help would be appreciate.

Well I want no soft material. I want pur leather, 100 % cleanable... and not much softness to them. Just enough to prevent bruising or marks. The fuzz ones seem to hard to clean, or just a potential part of failure.

    Happy Restraining!

What's even worse, bad-quality handcuffs may jam, forcing you, at worst, to call the police. Not amusing if you'd land in that situation during play...maybe a reason to have a bolt clipper at home if you're into this...

Find someone who works in leather and have them made to spec. That's what I'm doing (at His direction, since they'll actually belong to Him) - and it's not costing a fortune.
Working too much....and unfortunately not online as much as I'd like.

An update - I picked them up yesterday and they look great! Very simple, very sturdy, not soft at all. I think He'll be very pleased.

The best place I have found for restraints is a store that sells horse equipment, mostly farm or ranch implement outlets. There are many options on-line as well. Leather hobbles work quite well and believe it or not a horse’s ankle is about the same size as a human wrist! Even if it is a bit large it can be sized with minor modification. Backing the cuffs with a good quality lead rope at the elbows will keep your sub secure and in place without causing unnecessary skin damage.

While there pick up a good riding crop as well!

    The man knows tack.

    K,

Crops, bats, buggy or lunging whips... are all very easily obtained at a tack store or any "House and Ranch"0 type outlet.

Motorcycle shops have apparrel such as wrist cuffs that can be easily modified into restraints with a bit of leather, D-rings, and Chicago screws. But I'd follow jeanne's suggestion and go to a leathercrafter. If you can't find someone locally with an online search, a surprising number of them won't bat an eye when you tell them what you would like them to make...

If that doesn't suit you, have them make the cuffs and add the D-rings yourself. Again... all it takes is a strip of leather and some Chicago screws to secure the rings to the cuffs.

Yes, yes he does. I received a text one day that said, "Shopping @ Western Ranch Supply. Heh heh heh..." I couldn't figure out why he was there or why that was funny. I know better now...

    I ended up going to

    cinemaredux@yahoo.com

I am EXTREMELY happy, though some stuff can be found at the same quality locally for not quite as much.

    Thanks everyone

Yes, he did, didn't he? He wasn't happy with the finish on the first set he made so redid them - I like dealing with people who take pride in their work!

My only advice is to buy quality. They'll never break and just feel nicer for every time you use them.
