Like many before me, I'm starting on my journey of self-bondage discovery. I've got a fair idea of what I want to try, but I'm kind of curious what kind of experiences everyone else has had.

I do know that people have put the handcuff key in the middle of an ice cube of sorts, or hang it above on a string and the candle burns down to the string and burns it to release it from the cieling....i just watched a video recently where the person did herself up, it was very interesting...need to try it sometime...

I started of with self bondage, really more to see what different things would feel like. I like breast bondage, using cuffs, ropes, belts and chains. I used to watch different bondage videos, and then try some things out myself. Of course, there are things you are not able to do alone, but it can be a lot of fun too! It all depends of what turns you on and what things you want to try.

One thing to be very aware of though is making sure you can get out at a moments notice! It is also important to have scissors, bolt cutters etc on hand to cut the bondage off if needed too.

Be very careful about knots that seem okay, but actually tighten as you pull on them. Get a good rope/knot bondage reference and practice. Try creating harnesses and crotch-rope ties that can be worn under your clothing. Also watch out for anything on the neck. Auto-Erotic Asphyxiation can be a real drag. Have fun!

I love to put rubber bands at the base of my balls. Depending on the length, I would wrap it 2-3 times. It's difficult to wrap each ball individually, although I've had some success. I would then wrap rubber bands around my cock. After a short time it turns purple and red. I guess the blood supply is being cut off, so I undo them.
