And alltough one can follow some standardized non-descript human-animal training regiumes (as in one of the gorean versions of petplay known as the modality of the she-quadruped, which isnt nessesarally animal specific) most training of the like eventually has some specifics that revolve around what type of animal the submissive is expected to mimic as when one is involved in pony play or puppy play.

Generally speaking when any given submissive is under the disipline of such a condition they will not speak with actual words unless a saftey issue arises or they are commanded to do otherwise. Additionally one may engade in the appropriate (to the animal type) behavior which may include at times: not riseing from all fours, (though in pony play when pulling a buggy or cart or prancing I was on two legs out of nessesity) being fed out of a bowel, by hand, from scraps tossed on the floor, a trough etc, taken outside for "walks", bathed with a hose, groomed, sleep in a kennnel or stable, pull a horse buggy etc, what have you and will basically be expected stay in animal modality if at all possible during it all.

Of course one can go outside of the traditional forms of bdsm related animal/pet play paragons if one chooses and get into whats commonly called "Furry" play where one often dons in whole or in part an animal mascot type suit etc if one so desires and goes from there.
