Ever, during periods where you have no one to play with, engage in self-masochism just for the "fun" of it? And if so, what do you do?

Occasionally, yes. Since angel started bringing out the Dom in me it has sort of not seemed important. Occasionally I indulge in self-bondage and playing with clothespins etc, I've gathered some know-how about making a decent self-hogtie or chair-tie. I've been thinking seriously about some self-knife play myself, but not "cut myself" as much as "surface scrath"... don't really have a goal of drawing blood.
