Seems as good a place to ask this as any, does anyone know what kind of lighting equipment they use in photography darkrooms? Seems to me that it could make for some pretty effective BDSM mood lighting.

Regarding the first thing on the list- if you go into a music store and ask for "tambourine brushes," you'll probably be laughed out of the building, as they don't exist (take it from a musician). I think the author of the list means "snare brushes," which while moderately pricey, could prove to be a fun toy (they are a retractable brush made of a cluster of heavy wires, about 7 inches long). Guitar clamps are also good for heavy-duty clamping, leather bassoon seat-straps make excellent strops, reed knives and files are excellent for knife-play....there are so many items at music stores that could be used in a BDSM setting! Keep in mind that many items will be pricey, but they will be of highest quality.
