This article is one which suggests that 'Paraphillia' (i.e. what most of us engage in) should be removed from the DSM:

In other words, some psychologists are coming round to the idea that BDSM activities should not be included on the list of 'pathopsychologies' meaning that they will not be considered evidence of mental disorder. Certainly a step in the right direction towards general acceptance.
