So very happy to be loved by Warbaby. ~
Was just curious, as I would like to get deeper into this especially since I had read some good ones
Oh, then you read none of mine...![]()
Okay, I have been given the green light to give you an assignment.
I would like you to write a short passage ( no more than 5 paragraphs but at least 2 paragraphs) describing something you feel passionate about. This does not have to be erotic. I am looking to see both how you use words and the emotion you can put into the piece.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or concerns.

My apologies for not doing this sooner. Real Life had gotten in the way plus there are many things I am so passionate about that it is hard to choose just one. I decided to go with this one. This is also posted to a website and the address is http://rickbulow74.i8.com/FairTax/Why_I_support.html
WHY I SUPPORT THE FAIR TAX
Once again Congressman John Linder (Republican from Georgia) has introduced H.R. 25 into the United States House of Representatives. H.R. 25, if you are not already familiar with it or not from the United States, is a bill designed to do away with the Income Tax and replace it with something called the Fair Tax. You have probably heard some radio talk show hosts such as Neal Boortz and Sean Hannity, speaking in favor of it. I also support it for the following reasons: It allows people to keep 100% of their paycheck, it will bring jobs and businesses back to the United States, and it will recapture billions of dollars currently lost to underground activities and offshore businesses.
First, I support the Fair Tax because it allows people to keep 100% of their paycheck. Many do not realize this, but if you take a good, hard look at your paycheck you will notice that some of your money is being taken away due to Federal Income Taxes, Social Security, and Medicare. With the Fair Tax, you will keep it ALL and spend it how YOU see fit, not how the Government sees fit to spend some of your hard earned money. When you punch the time clock to start work nowadays, the government is right there holding it's hand out for 25% of the money you make per hour. The Fair Tax will allow you to add the extra 25% to your paycheck because that is your hard earned money to keep. And with the Americans keeping 100% of their paychecks, hopefully it will also bring businesses and jobs back to the United States from overseas.
The Second reason I support the Fair Tax is because it will bring businesses and jobs back to the United States from overseas. If you look at the stock market recently, you will see that it is in a rapid decline and one of the causes of that, in my opinion, is the result of businesses and jobs being outsourced to other countries. Thatin turn leads to the Unemployment Rate being raised to an ungodly number. With the Fair Tax, once Americans earn 100% of their paycheck that would mean more jobs for them because once the businesses learn of this they will want to hire more Americans. And with more jobs comes more choices of work and more people working which will bring the economy back in an upswing. And of course, with businesses and jobs coming back from overseas, it might also lead to billions of dollars being recaptured which are currently lost to underground activities and offshore accounts.
The final reason I support the Fair Tax is because it will bring back billions of dollars currently held in offshore accounts and also held illegally by underground businesses. Right now many people have offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands and other locales because those nations that host Offshore Financial Centers are popular because they are generally do not collect a tax at any stage in the recognition of wealth, capital gains, or income. Now, most of these offshore financial centers are used by the seediest of criminals. I bet you if Al Capone and the other gangsters back in the 1920's were to have heard of these offshore financial centers that even MORE money were to have flowed into them. If we were to eliminate all taxes on capital and labor, the United States would be the world's largest tax haven and we would not only bring back those lost American dollars but also those trillion dollars from other foreign nations would also start flowing in, which would bring us right back to the second reason I mentioned why I support the Fair Tax: it would create more jobs.
These are but 3 examples why I am in support of the Fair Tax, and will be going into others in more detail later with other entries. However, do not just take MY word for it. I urge you to do research for yourself on the Fair Tax. Go to the Fair Tax website at http://www.fairtax.org and look at the various topics there. I also recommend purchasing "The Fair Tax Book: Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS" and also "Fair Tax: The Truth" by Neal Boortz and John Linder. Also, for those of you in the United States I urge you to call your Congressmen and Senators and get them to co-sponsor this legislation. For those of you outside of the United States and interested in this, I would recommend calling your friends in the United States and urge them to do research on this and have them call their Congressmen and Senators to get them to support this legislation.
Thanks Rick, that was a very interesting read.
The next task I would like you to do is write a dialogue between two people. The setting and the characters are up to you. Please write a short passage at the start explaining the circumstances surrounding the dialogue. Once again, this piece does not have to be erotic and should not be too long.
If you are not already aware, start each new speaker's dialogue on a new line. Also be careful with your use of punctuation marks and commas.
I look forward to seeing how you tackle this next assignment. Have fun!
