or just use google...type the name of your city followed by the word "munch" or the words "bdsm club" or bdsm fetish ball" or "fettish convention" and poof...everything ever typed up online with those words for your city will pop up, and you didnt even have to join some site like fetlife or collarme etc.

As denuseri said, you can google local organizations. Be sure to add your city and state in the search otherwise you'll end up with a slew of groups from all over. Personally, if you have intentions of having a r/l BDSM relationship, be sure to log in some time with that person prior to any play. I invested 6 months of communication into my Dom before we played. I would highly recommend that to everyone!! I have never participated in an online relationship and can't really give input on that.
