Oh that was good!! Wasn’t expecting her to know the security guard. I especially liked this part - "My heart and soul must have known, though my brain was not fully ready to accept it when I threw away the now empty box, instead of placing it back on its shelf where it had sat gathering dust, nothing more than a memory for me, till now." The gong part was good too, I almost got nervous myself just reading it. Great detail, sheepish one Is there going to be a chapter 2??? Oh and I liked the part with the cashier, she sounded pretty hot LOL jk.
