Thanks, echoes, I appreciate the feedback. I will need to work on that description more - you shouldn't have to concentrate too hard - although, then again, it isn't meant to be immediately blindingly obviouse either, the reader is supposed to be puzzled, intrigued and then come to the realisation with somewhat of the same shock as Emily!

ok moptop, the only area I had to afix my concentration and almost lost it was when you first described the pillars, they tapered up (this could be my interpretation and the difficulty I have here, but to taper is not slim? I immediately thought the pillars as legs yet the slimming hesitated me until I followed to the curve...so you have to have this meld. I honestly do not see how it can be described better any other way...and thats exactly it! It was not obtruse that it be so easily recognized, it was described as her eyes travelled the curves. Honestly I would not change it one bit.
