ropes are easy because when you are camping, no one would question why you have them! also, tent pegs make excellent ground stakes for tying, though they can pull out of the ground if it is at all soft so be careful or your sub may escape. also, depending on where you are going, beware of local wildlife - you will want to make sure that anything you do can be QUICKLY undone should any bears or things be in the area.
