    greetings madman

Strange thing, I came here today, as I do, to peruse the writing, and for some reason Mad Lews, your name had popped into my head.

Perhaps one day I will get to level four and be able to thank you for being here on a more personal level. You caught my attention with some of your comments on writings in level one, would have to look back to see exactly what it was...suffice to say a few people here have definately grabbed my attention, and you sir, are one.

Part of my afffliction, I adore a madman!

    Thanks for your time.

    Switchy Pos,

Study hard, write well, and floss regularly and before you know it you'll be right up here at level four where we can laugh and play (no screaming please it upsets Lews) and engage in a bit of creative exchange. You have no idea how long I've been patiently awaiting a vict.. err protegee up here.

Mad one (or are there two of you in there?) I will study hard, write as well as possible, and continue to stretch, become more flexible and get in better shape so I can work my way up to level 4. Yes, sir! Love the advice, thank you. Flossing regularly.

I want to laugh and play.

I am hard working, patient and I rarely scream. My goal is not to upset anyone. This doesn't mean it never happens. I also have the affliction of honesty. I thrive on creative exchange.

I am always seeking a mentor to take advant...um, to guide me on this sometimes lonely path of writing...

Oh, thanks for the nickname, I like it.

And you are one step closer to the Mad One, once you get access to Level II.

    Darling Mad,
i keep graduating people from my level, be patient. (do you have any idea how long i have waited to tell a Dom to be patient? Hehehehehehehehehe!!!)

And anytime you feel the need to practice on someone, just give a shout!

Dear Muse to the lucky Dragon,
Yes you have passed the bright eyed young writers along with a promptness that is as becoming as your new Avatar. Aussie girl is energetically encouraging them along the path as well, I've yet to see one get past Ruby though; perhaps someday she'll relent, but till then I assure you I am the very definition of patient contemplation as I plot and plan my course and speed. That doesn't mean I won't consider your generous offer however :-)

Does this mean there are no new writers on level 4? Just old ones? Or none at all? Dragon's muse has been very good to me, very helpful. I hope to continue this to the end level, you know, write all the levels of this class, write a bunch of books and stories that get published, and then I can die in peace...were I the nervous kind I might start chewing my nails now, but I am not that kind...

No one get's past Ruby, hmmm. Only level two and then I will find out, assuming I can pass two...not too nervous...just a little.

This is a question for the ages as well as for myself. If there is only one, well so be it. If however they are two distinct and varied entities I would have to say that Mad is the relatively sane one (in the conventional sense of the word) and Lews is the source of much, well, shall we say, inspiration.

    Switchy Pos,

At the moment none but Mad & Lews reside at level 4.
Several students have made it past Ruby (long ago and far away) but they must have been properly motivated and remaind true to their quest.

Hmm I suppose I could have Mad teach Lews how to write while I await the influx of students.
I'll take that under advisement, but no extra credit for wild suggestions

Don't you believe it, Switch Positive! I've heard positively debauched tales about the kind of extra credit going on in Level 4. I've been banging on the door of Level 3 for a week now, trying to get in, but no one seems to be about to let me in. I want to get all over Ruby...um, through Ruby, so I can see if the stories are true about Mad and Lews and the type of instructor he really is.

If they are half as true as I've heard, oh what a wild time that Level 4 is gonna be!

Of course, Lews could just be funnin' me. We shall see.

    Dearest Mad and Lews,

How would I know who I am calling old as I cannot even see level 4? Well, um, except for you two, or three, keep going, I am not afraid...I know you are there from the thread, and I am certainly not calling you old. Besides, I have recently discovered a fondness for older men (assuming one of you is a man). I merely meant members of longer standing in this wonderful webhole.

patiently waiting admittance to level 2...

I was lookin around for some stories by you, Mad Lews, I hate to admit my clumsiness but I am new here. New to forums in general, and relatively bad at finding things...there must be some little gems of yours for me to read buried in these endless yellow words...your comments bespeak a mad predilection for insightful communication, please point me to your fiction, I would love to read...

I will offer a trade for directions, I have all sorts of ideas for stories and books and screenplays and am dying for ya'll to read my stuff. I take harsh but constructive criticism well. I take all wild suggestions and try to make the most of 'em.

Indeed if I were only truly mad, I would devote all my time to writing, I would forsake my job and friends and just write.

Please, Mad Lews?, in a charming tone, (not beggardly, it doesn't become me.) Show me some story?

    yours too,
    Swtchy

Well I'll have you know not all of us are that easy.

take your pick, they run the gamete but my personal favorite (in concept if not execution) would be "Review This Story". http://www.bdsmlibrary.com/stories/s...p?storyid=3293
Now if you make it through "Lien V" and still want to come to level 4 well Ruby will never slow you down.

So I showed you mine, it's time for you to show me your's.
Well of course I'd love to hear your stories yeah stories that's what I was thinking.

    Welcome Lews,

I hope to be seeing you soon, if I can ever get past the slave driver that Ruby is turning out to be.

Just kidding Ruby. I appreciate the way you are making me stretch beyond my comfort zone and showing me that I am a better writer that my creative writing teachers ever saw. If only more teachers were like you, I would have been here long ago.

Thank you, Rhabbi. I was just bragging to Mad in a PM that you and I were making huge progress. At the rate you are moving along, you'll be ready for him soon.

Tessa, what's keeping you from joining us?
Have you passed level two and need clearance?
I don't have the supermod powers needed to let you in the level.

All, to address the toughness of level 3, since I've been the instructor, no one's made it to level 4.

Why? Perhaps as Rhabbi and anonymouse are experiencing, the assignments are difficult and take the students into new areas of style, tense and adventure. Or perhaps, the willingness to continue diminishes when the going gets rough. Hmmmm. Something to ponder.

“Tenacity is a pretty fair substitute for bravery, and the best form of tenacity I know is expressed in a Danish fur trapper's principle, "The next mile is the only one a person really has to make."”
-- Eric Sevareid (American Journalist, 1912-1992)

Which roughly translates to, "Take your assignments one at a time and go for it!"

Looking forward to more students joining level 3 and then passing them along to the mad one.

That's it, Ruby. I've passed Level 2, but no one wants to let me in your class. I've emailed but haven't had much luck. I know life is busy, so I hate to pester too much. But if a supermod can do it, I'm fixin' to go bug the doodle bugs out of minxy.

"Fools rush in" or some such a thing comes to my mind at the moment. But I do want to learn, so there's that.

Well I once had a passing acquaintances with a mercenary named Mad Mike Hoare. (Can't say I truly "Knew" him, certainly not in the biblical sense mind you). His personal eccentricity's were legendary In a understated British kind of way. They might have been seen by some as a valid argument for sanity in the ranks, though I never really explored the possability. I'm fairly sure that he couldn't be the Mad Mike you refer to. He's even older than I am, if indeed he still lives.

Nah, my Mad Mike is on the oasis with me. In America. I was just being silly.

So I adored "review this story" and will definately read all of your finely crafted offerings here. I was going to post a review, I hit the review this story link and boom, the site crashed.

By the way, I changed my name, inspired by you. I hope you don't mind.

Off to floss and do my homework...
