Not that I need to explain but I will anyway...Arlene's character is based on a friend of mine. Her real name is very unique because her mom made it up, it's not spanish either. (Part of it is after a friend of her mom's named Arlene.) Ar--- is 100% Puerto Rican. So I only saw her character in my mind as Latino. So abuelo/abuela was simply natural. Had this been a longer story, that would have come out more clearly.

Tessa- I think my years in theater have made writing dialogue my favorite. This assignment was fun. Thanks for the thumbs-up.
