Tourguide, I love the idea of Pinky and the Brain for cat names. I have known cats that fit both of those descriptions entirely.



But could not this be an example of Dominance and Submission; intellect and sloth? For, given your examples, could it not be seen that Pinky is submissive, albeit, not so bright, but submissive to the mad, evil machinations of Brain? I have always seen it that way in the example of my favorite lab mice. Not knowing your cats, I of course can not rule upon your observations; but I am wondering if you had just not thought of it in that sense. Or even watched P&B reruns looking at it through D/s lenses.


I must say I love this thread. Maybe, because I love cats, but mostly because I love the responses and observations of other pet lovers.
