I did make sure there was a lot of lube, but I suppose flexibility is a small problem for me as well. I was wondering about the pelvic bone, and hand size as well, I wasn't sure if they were really huge factors or not.

I do know of some women who can do it themselves, but I think that it takes a good deal of relaxation and patience as well.
