It is funny that you moved "on dummies" to the end of the sentence. I originally had it there, and then moved it inside. I think you are probably right. I would now change it to: "on dummies and each other." It is important that the trainers know how their implements feel to the victim. That is why I had Steve remember, from his training experience, how stressful a ball gag can be when tightly buckled.
It is difficult to think of a safe way to kidnap young girls, in developed countries, and have them disappear forever. One way would be to get them out of the country as quickly as possible, and train them in an autocratic country, maybe with government approval, or on an isolated island. Even then, disgruntled employees might give them away, since parents would surely offer rewards for information. If the girls are sold, one is likely to escape, sooner or later, to spill the beans.
The plan I adopted for Steve was an international Association that maintained security by secrecy. Only a few leading officers know the set-up. All work is carried out by small teams of trained employees, specializing in one facet of the business. Each team then works as a independent contractor, paid by deposits in a Swiss bank account (tax free). All training and contact with the teams is with cover stories, so the specialized teams know little about the other parts of the operation. If one team is caught, which is sure to happen from time to time, there is little loss to the Association. It can continue to operate as usual with the remaining teams.
I started thinking about this because of your story, but it is not something I want to continue with right now. Thus, I give it to you for what it is worth, i.e. free.
I am learning a lot from the Block, and I enjoy the process. Level Two is different from Level One, and I have learned different things from it. Both have had the good effect of getting me to write, and to evaluate and improve the initial drafts. So, since Aussie has given me a choice, I would now like to move on to Level Three. I will, of course, return here to see any additional comments that my posts might elicit. I am really anxious to see what Mean Dean has to say.
