It was very cold and the air smelled like cinnamon and snow. In the darkened room, the fireplace crackled and warmed the room like a furnace. Hot cocoa with swirls of steam waited on the side table, adding to the holiday ambiance. The wing chair in the corner was occupied by a naked man bent over the back of the chair. "How many?" she demanded.

He couldn't answer.
