Is it just me, or have there been less stories, and of those, more of rather poorly-written ones, since the site has changed ownership? Not to flame the new site admin or anything, just wondering what happened?

Well seeing how I just got back from vacation and am trying to catch up on the story updates ---that is not a fair statement---also we have no control over the quality of the stories submitted ---but you have so submit a good quality story for us all

My apologies, as I said I didn't intend to blame the new site admin. I was just comparing the most recent update to those I've read, say, several months ago, and wondering if anyone else felt the same way. Please feel free to close the thread if you feel it amounts to flaming.

no it is not a flame just an explaination----but feel free to express your concerns to the authors themselves---the quality is their end---I just publish--and I feel every author has the right to be published----some are just starting and need guidance that they get thru feed back---but it does no good to express your feeling about stories if the author does not see it

phantasyseeker its funny you should say that! No I dont think its just you. I have been dipping in and out of this site for a couple of years and always found at least one story of high quality that has usually led to me reccommending it to someone else or got me masturbating on the spot ;-)

Recently my Master has given me the task of finding Him a good story and as a diligent slave I have trawled through quite a few. I am sad to say I havent been able to find ONE! I am continuing to look and sure i will find it.

What i actually said the other night was sorry i cant find one.... (much to the displeasure of my Master) a lot sem to be written with lack of imagination, talent and feeling. too much cunt this fuck that for starters not that i ever went for the "romantic" ones it just seems they are a lot cruder.

I appreciate that authors are just starting out and I will go into relevant forums and give my 2 penneth as it were lol just wanted to let you now that you're not the only one and when i read your post i was glad to realise I am also not the only one. Dont think it can be blamed on site ownership totally maybe the editor beforehand was more selective? I dunno...

Will continue to read and see...

Hmm...

I'd say, and this is purely speculation on my part, that the lack of detailed and helpful reviews/feedback has made many of the more talented authors view submitting stories to the site as a waste of valuable time.

Yet another reason to encourage more people to review the stories they seem to love so dearly.

Is it just me or...
Seems a good sub on finding nothing worthy of entertaining her Master would take action to rectify the situation (and perhaps save her bottom from a few strokes)
One could approach the situation in several ways,
First the sub, knowing what her master enjoys, could endeavor to construct such a tale on her own (under a pseudonym if she feels she must)
a second possibility is to offer story suggestions to authors in one of several threads set up for that purpose. (Story Ideas forum or Short takes thread in General Talk forum to name two)
I'd offer to help out myself but I write mostly BDSM romance and comedy, erotica being a happenstance in my stories.
Besides I kind of like the idea of Masters_desire being punished for the failures of the contributors.

Mad lews I agree with your comments, I have indeed written stories for my Master in the past that have given him great pleasure. Unfortunately none of which were long enough to enter the archive on this site (not sure if a minimum word count still applies I'll have to check)

Also I think another reason for me not finding a suitable story was the pressure to find one lol wanting so much to please my Master and find topics in the stories that He would enjoy I maybe got a bit overwhelmed?
