My basement has much too low a ceiling to be used as a dungeon (6ft 4 headroom) - I like suspension - a lot <weg>. So I renovated the basement to make additional living space down there - bedroom, workroom, study and a small family room and a pantry/laundry room.

I converted the second bedroom on the main floor into a dungeon - it has a 9 ft ceiling. Toys are on racks on the wall, there is a large suspension rack in the middle of the room - and an older futon below it as a pad (the futon gets moved aside during suspension to prevent messes) the floor it tiled. Nothing is built in permanently - mainly because I intend to sell and move in the near future - I'm looking for a rural property with a barn as well as house, and with lots of trees. The barn will become the dungeon - with really high suspension possibilities <weg>.

I don't have children - so the added privacy/security isn't needed - but it would be no issue to add same if needed. The current dungeon can be locked up - and soundproofing would be reasonably easy.

I make a lot of my own furniture - the frame, a really comfortable spanking bench. I'm currently working on a spreading chair (which won't have a full seat - to allow easy access to the nether regions - lol). On the books for when I move is a rotating St Andrews Cross, and some stands. I also plan to make a form of gibbet out of steel banding which will be used for suspension as well. I also intend to make a globe display cage - that promises to be lots of fun.
