I agree with the most part of what you say and greatly dislike any type of fashion trend hiding under the banner of art, or vise-versa.
but i do believe that sometimes, no matter how how much we may dislike a picture for its "non conformist" taste.I believe that it is for the same reason that we understand more about what we want and where to look for it.
