Had nipples pierced 2 years ago, at the same time, and had no problems...had clit hood pierced 2 months ago, and i'm still within the healing process...but do not regret either...the sensations are amazing....

My next tattoo is being designed by my son, and i truly can't wait to have that one done.....

Thanks for the info on titanium jewelery as i also have a great deal of difficulty with allergic reactions.

And to those of you who are thinking about a tattoo....oh they hurt sooooooooooo good. And are very addictive.....lol. I do suggest careful body placement so that if the need arises, they can be covered with normal clothes. i know this sounds prejudicial, but i have had several jobs where tattoos that were visible to the eye were not permitted. Just something to think about

I have my tongue,ears,lower lip and 1 nipple pierced.I used to have eyebrow and nose piercings but those areas gave me problems.

You sound leery of the hood piercing, sub84. If you're in doubt, don't do it. Reconsider your options. Perhaps clamping your clit with a "not to aggressively" appied clamp would be an alternative. You said your nipple piercings "never seemed to stop hurting'. Sweet one, that is the reason for the piercings (not to mention the spiffy jewelry!). i went with a friend to get her hood pierced she said other than one sharp pain as the needle went through she hasn't even experienced any mild discomfort but that the benefits have been amazing. im not crazy about needles and will admit i am a little leery of the piercings.but am still considering getting it done.
as for the tattoos the pain is nothing compaired to piercings. as i said i have 10 and they hurt in such a good way. its amazing. be forewarned though that tattoos can become very addictive.

i found the tattoos more painful than the piercings,
although the piercing of my clit was slightly embarrasing, i couldnt feel much but what i did feel was ....errm ...quite nice lol

when i got off the bed i noticed there was quite a wet patch *blushes* the piercer/tattooist saw me looking at it and assured me thats normal and it happens to a lot of women lol

I do not have a piercing at present and have never had one. But recently since becoming collared I have been thinking a lot about getting a Hafada (scrotum piercing). I know since ancient times the bodies of slaves and servants have been pierced as evidence of ownership. I think getting my scrotum pierced as a tangible sign of my submission to my Mistress would be nice. I also like the look of having a ring or other type jewelry there.

I haven’t yet broached this subject with my Mistress to see if this is something she would desire but I feel willing to do it if she approved. I also think I might be willing to have my frenum or nipples pierced if she wanted that but I think actually having my penis pierced for say a Prince Albert would be something I would be afraid to do.

butterfly i meant to tell you in the earlier post that that would be an absolutly beautiful. The level of pain also depends on the area you get it in. every person is different as icey said. think it through and if you decide to get one it probably wont be as bad as you think

I'm assuming the tattoo won't be as traumatic as i've built it up to be in my mind, sub84, but as my only experience is with piercings, we shall see...and yes, um...icy, the 'wet spot' with the hood piercing happened to me too. i was forewarned, and by god, they were right! i'd had a female piercist, and she and her male trainee/tech were there when it happened. They just laid a towel over me and left the room, leaving my face flushed, and my dignity intact!

Yes it hurt, but only for a second, and would do it again if I needed to.

(am a little embarrassed that when the pain ripped through me, I automatically said "Thank You, Sir" to the lovely piercing guy.....oops..
but I think he's seen and heard it all before..).

Really hope he never asks me to get my nipples pierced though - really would struggle with that - looks too painful...

My belly button one went sideways and was pushing out the piercing too. *Sad.* Now I have a scar there. *Sigh.* I want to get it re-done, hopefully in the same place.

When I was around 19-21 I used to have one between the eyebrows, one in the ear, one in the nose, one in the tongue, 4 in the nipples (horizontally and vertically), and one in the belly-button.

I got bored after while and took them all out.

Nowadays I only have the tongue one.

Right now I have both earlobes pierced, along with one conch and one tragus. My nose is pierced, as is my navel. Years ago I'd gotten my nipples pierced, but both piercings were very difficult to heal (I blame both the piercer and the jewelry, but that's a different story) and I took them out. There's still a little bit of scarring. My clit hood is pierced - it was surprisingly painless to get done, just a sharp little pinch.

I have tattoos on both arms.

I haven't done any sort of play piercing sexually, but I've done an energy pull and a suspension, so I have a set of lovely little hook scars on my shoulderblades.

Can't speak for the nipples myself, but I know that my clit has definitely gotten less sensitive. It can definitely take a lot more 'abuse' than it could pre-piercing, and I do consider it a tradeoff.

I have my ears pierced 4 times each. I also have my nose pierced and my bellybutton pierced. I used to have 00 gauges in both ears, but got bored with them and took them out. They've healed up almost completely after 2 years. I also had my eyebrow pierced twice, both times rejected, and it didn't look that great anyway.

For tattoos, I have one on each ankle, forget-me-nots on one, and a maple leaf on the other (which I hope someday to have crossed with hockey sticks). And my favourite is the inside of my lip (MOUTH lip not pussy lip - only here does that question get asked). I would love to get more, but I'm not allowed. I have visions of my flowers being joined with a detail of a Henry Darger painting ^.^

For piercings I would like to get my conch done, maybe one more cartilage, my nipples, and my hood. For my nipples I'm still deciding whether I want just one in each or two crossed.

hi i have my left ear and eye brow pierced, my wife has her ears tounge and navel, she used to have her lower lip, nose and left nipple, the nipple one she took out as it never healed, shame as i loved her nipple ring
also we both have tattoos, me i have 2 on each arm and 1 on my left shoulder , my wife has one at the base of her back and a winged horse across her back at the top, its been done in light grey so don't look to butch
