Well, I came across these positions for the first time in the Academy and the link they came from was a Gorean website. Apart from a brief online conversation with a Gorean slave this is all I know about the lifestyle as they do tend to be rather insular. I think the fact that even we find them wierd and aren't shy about saying so doesn't help and we are wierd enough.

It is interesting to see the shared link between the two, however. I suppose the positions are generic enough as there are only a limited number of ways to poisition a human body. So it is probably a case of 'parallel evolution' rather than divergence.
