Life for me has been full of stress due to personal, financial, and work related reasons. I found a good point made in the movie, the Last Samurai where the main character is told ''too many mind''. Trying to focus on too many things can pull us farther apart from being centered. With that in mind, I find something simple I can do, where I can close my eyes, take a deep breath and just listen to the wind through the trees, or the birds as they sing, or something in the background to draw back inside myself.

When you focus on one thing, be it sucking on your Master's finger, or absorbing into a task like working out or anything that allows you to redirect your mind, you will slowly be able to block all else out and think nothing.

Sounds silly doesn't it? Thinking absolutely nothing. But clearing my mind periodically and just allowing myself to remove the weight of all other worldly cares does wonders for my stress level.

Other than that, nothing cures my stress level like pushing my body to its limits during a workout and completely exhausting myself to the point where I do not have the energy to pay attention to the things that bother me.

I do hope this is helpful in some aspect.
