I Agree with Nikita about the Witching Hour. That was one of the more creatively constructed books she has written. It is, in fact, my favorite Anne Rice novel.

As for her pornography, I found Exit to Eden to be a droningly long novel. She took fairly interesting characters and sucked the life out of them. She did the same with Belinda - which I did not finish.

I also managed to read the Beauty series. I was highly disappointed in this sseries. It was written plainly and unimaginatively. It was as if she was afraid to pepper it with descriptions that might have brought true life and reality to the story.

On the other hand, she got paid handsomely for those books while I get paid in reviews. So, who am I to talk?
