After reading and really enjoying Interview With the Vampire I avidly read a number of her books and was consistently disappointed.

I felt like the rest of that series was tremendously repetitive.

Her Beauty trilogy was too soft for my tastes. Which I wouldn't have minded except, again, I found her scenes to be repetitive. By the time I finished the trilogy, I felt like I had wasted my time.

If someone tells me that Exit to Eden is substantially different, I'll give it a go. But please, not if it's of the same ilk.

I'll assume that the movie had little in common with the book... save for the title...
