It is true to say that the pics that have appeared on this thread over the past few days (and all the way through actually) have been absolutely stunning.

I'm amazed by every photo I see in this thread and would love to be in a position to be posting some of my own, but unfortunately I can't.

Meanwhile, until I can, keep up the good work peoples. The results are superb!!

-- photo resizing suggestions -- what works for me --

I open the pictures in "paint" the easy photo program that comes with Windows. Then use the stretch/skew to downsize. Save as jpeg with new names and it lets me post them without driving me crazy.

there is one for resizing jpg to 640/480 800/600 or 1024/768

I use it and it will drop a 5mb file down to less then 52kb
